The Episode starts with Dadabhai asking Jhanak about her family. She says she lived with her mother and Dadi. Indumati wonders why Nutan sent her away since she’s a single child. Jhanak says everyone comes alone into this world and assures them she will handle all the housework. Payal asks if she can stay without her mother. Jhanak says she can manage.
Indumati asks about her father. Tanushree asks if he’s alive. Jhanak says she never saw him as he left before she was born. Indumati tells her to forget all that and focus on work. Tanushree reminds her many people live there, so she must work for everyone. Jhanak agrees.
Payal says Jhanak is brave since Rishi is an angry man, and not everyone can face him. Jhanak cooks up a fake story. Dadabhai asks how Nutan sent an unmarried girl to the city for work when village girls usually marry young. Rishi overhears and thinks his family can’t handle the truth. He decides to tell Aditi first and leaves, telling Tanushree Jhanak came forcefully. He orders Jhanak to work and goes out.
At a restaurant, Aditi realises how important Rishi is to her. He arrives and hugs her, thinking about his marriage to Jhanak. Aditi thinks he didn’t pick her calls because he was injured. Rishi wants to tell her the truth, but Aditi assumes he wants to share his mission details. She narrates how Smita’s cousin married a village girl and settled in Delhi. Rishi wonders how to confess his truth but decides he will tell her someday. Aditi says she trusts him and no one else will come into his life.
Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Jhanak dozes off while washing utensils. Dadabhai tells Indumati he’s hungry. Abhimanyu says he hired a cook, but Dadabhai questions the need for one when they already have a maid. Indumati insists they need both. Food is ready. Tanushree goes to the kitchen, finds Jhanak asleep, and wakes her up, asking her to eat and rest. She brings Jhanak to the hall and tells everyone she fell asleep in the kitchen. Jhanak fears punishment. Dadabhai says she will get punished. Indumati says her punishment is to serve them and clean the kitchen.
In the village, Sakhi brings Prakash to Nutan. Nutan tells him about Jhanak’s forced marriage. Prakash feels sad, thinking he loves Jhanak but God took her away. Nutan asks if he knows Parashar’s whereabouts. Prakash refuses, saying Parashar is like a father to him. Sakhi urges him to tell Parashar about Jhanak. Prakash asks Nutan not to worry and leaves.
Later, Ishani calls Nutan, upset that Jeet returned and Shashvat threw her out because of his lies. Even Ambika hates her now. She asks Nutan for help finding a job. Nutan shares that Jhanak is married now. Ishani vows to find Jhanak in Kolkata, calling her a daughter. Nutan promises to support Ishani and update her with Jhanak’s address. Ishani feels relieved. Just then, Ambika scolds Ishani, telling her to adjust with Shashvat, but Ishani refuses.
