The Episode starts with Rishi approaching Aditi, hoping for a chance to speak. But Aditi shuts him down, saying there’s no point in explanations now. She’s deeply hurt, knowing that Rishi hid the biggest truth from her—that he’s already married to Jhanak. She says he could have told her earlier but chose to keep her in the dark.
Jhanak tries to defend Rishi and tells Aditi she’s misunderstanding the situation. She explains that the marriage was forced and meant nothing to either of them. She only married Rishi to save his life from the wrath of her villagers. Jhanak insists that Rishi’s heart only belongs to Aditi and pleads with her not to cancel their wedding.
But Aditi wants answers. She asks Rishi why he brought Jhanak into his house and kept her there as a maid. Rishi says he
Aditi presses further, wanting to know what exactly happened that led to such drastic measures. Rishi avoids the full explanation, assuming Aditi won’t believe him anyway. Hurt and betrayed, Aditi tells him that she can’t trust him anymore—especially since the truth only came out because someone sent her photos. She asks Rishi and his entire family to leave. She even tells Aniruddh that she no longer wants to marry Rishi. According to her, the wedding rituals can now happen between Rishi and Jhanak instead.
Jhanak, visibly emotional, questions Aditi’s logic. She reminds her that Rishi loves only Aditi and insists that she doesn’t have any claim on him. Jhanak repeats that the marriage was forced and meant nothing. Dadabhai tries to reason with Aditi, saying now that she knows the truth from Jhanak herself, canceling the marriage might not be right.
Rishi pleads with Aditi, saying he’s made mistakes but never betrayed her love. He admits he kept quiet out of fear of losing her. He promises that Jhanak will go back to the village soon and asks her not to doubt his feelings. But Aditi isn’t ready to let it go. She says the marriage may have been forced, but it still happened—and Rishi should accept that reality. Aniruddh watches the scene silently, reflecting on his own past with Jhanak, when he too was forced into a marriage.
Rishi tells Aditi that after the wedding in the village, he had mentally cut off all ties with Jhanak. He never asked her to follow him home. He begs Aditi to believe that he only ever loved her. But Aditi feels the trust is already broken. Choton tries to make her see reason, saying she’s following her heart just like Aniruddh once did.
Precap: Aditi asks Rishi for one good reason to trust him again. Meanwhile, Jhanak is confused by her feelings as she catches herself missing Rishi, despite accepting their marriage was fake.
