The Episode starts with Rishi confessing to Tanushri that he caused Jhanak’s accident. Overcome with guilt, he insists it is his responsibility to sign the consent form and save her life. Abhimanyu warns him not to take such a big risk, but Rishi argues that Jhanak will die if he doesn’t sign. Tanushri tells him that the family only cares about his safety, not Jhanak’s. The nurse interrupts urgently, reminding Rishi that every second of delay could cost Jhanak her life.
Just then, Dadabhai arrives with Putul. Concerned, he asks Rishi what the doctor said. Rishi replies that Jhanak is in a critical condition and explains how he wants to sign for her surgery, but his parents are against it. Dadabhai immediately supports him, declaring that he too can sign because Jhanak is like his daughter. He scolds the family for letting their hatred overshadow basic humanity. Rishi, determined, says Jhanak is in this state because of him, so he must take responsibility. The nurse takes him inside, with Dadabhai following. Abhimanyu, frustrated, mutters about when the family will finally be free from Jhanak, and fears a looming police case.
At the desk, Rishi tells the manager he is ready to sign. The manager asks him to state his relationship with Jhanak. Rishi hesitates, but Dadabhai steps in and firmly asks him to write “husband.” He reminds Rishi that while he may never have accepted the marriage, the truth remains—he is Jhanak’s husband, and right now their only priority should be saving her life. With a heavy heart, Rishi signs the bond as Jhanak’s husband. The surgery begins.
After some time, the doctor emerges and informs them that the operation is over, but Jhanak is still not stable. Dadabhai anxiously asks if she will recover, but the doctor refuses to give false hope, urging them to inform her family because her condition is still critical. Putul asks whether Jhanak’s youth can help her survive. The doctor replies that survival now depends on her willpower. Rishi pleads with the doctor to save Jhanak at any cost. The doctor gently tells him she understands his worry for his wife—especially since he caused her accident. Dadabhai requests to meet Jhanak, and the doctor permits a short visit.
Inside the room, Jhanak slowly opens her eyes and sees Dadabhai. He asks her not to speak, assuring her that the surgery is done and she will be fine. He scolds her softly for not crossing the road carefully. The nurse warns him not to stress the patient, and he steps out, telling Rishi to go in next. Putul adds that Jhanak will feel better if she sees him.
Rishi enters hesitantly, lost in thought about how he had once before signed as Jhanak’s husband on hospital papers. Jhanak opens her eyes and sees him. The nurse, touched, praises Rishi for doing so much for his wife, telling Jhanak she is lucky. Her words bring tears to Jhanak’s eyes. Rishi gently asks her not to cry, saying he already blames himself for her blood loss and suffering. He promises that if needed, he will even bring her family from Simulboni. He asks her to rest and quietly leaves.
