The Episode starts with Jhanak taking Parashar’s blessings before leaving for Kolkata. Parashar insists on accompanying her, but Jhanak gently refuses, saying he should rest because of his fever. She shares the good news of getting a medical seat and promises to stay in a hostel. Parashar asks her to take Mangal along, but Sakhi volunteers instead. Before she leaves, Parashar gives her some money, and Mangal hands her an envelope and a letter from her teacher, who had sent funds for her application. Jhanak vows to repay everyone’s kindness once she becomes a teacher herself.
Parashar, feeling emotional, says Nutan’s blessings are with her and regrets not being able to support her financially. Jhanak consoles him, promising to make him proud and return as a doctor. As she leaves with Sakhi for
Meanwhile, back at Rishi’s house, Tanushri questions Rishi’s loyalty and his constant involvement with Jhanak. She admits that she now believes Jhanak is not wrong but reminds Rishi that his responsibility is toward Aditi, not Jhanak. She warns him that continuing to interfere in Jhanak’s life will only hurt his marriage. Rishi says he understands her point, but his conscience won’t let him ignore Jhanak if she ever needs help.
The next morning, Indumati pleads with Aditi not to leave the house after yet another fight. But Aditi, consumed by pain and suspicion, says she cannot live with a man who still thinks about another woman. She accuses Rishi of emotional betrayal and declares she cannot tolerate it anymore. Rishi tries to calm her, saying she is misunderstanding him, but Aditi refuses to listen.
Dadabhai intervenes, asking if Aditi really wants to end her marriage. She nods, bitterly saying Dadabhai must be happy. He insists Rishi genuinely loves Aditi. Rishi agrees but says Aditi doesn’t trust him anymore. Putul then reveals that Rishi might meet Jhanak again since her NEET results are out. Surjeet and Tanushri tell Rishi to focus on his marriage, not Jhanak, reminding him he’s a married man now.
Aditi, fuming, accuses Jhanak of trying to impress Rishi and acting like a martyr. Putul defends her sister, saying Jhanak could have easily demanded money or refused to sign divorce papers if she wanted to come between them. Dadabhai sarcastically reminds everyone how they never let Jhanak live peacefully when she was around.
Rishi pleads with Aditi to stop comparing herself with Jhanak. He says he went to Jhanak’s felicitation only out of respect and that Jhanak never demanded anything from him. But Aditi’s pain deepens — she says he hides everything about Jhanak. Rishi insists he just wants peace and togetherness, yet admits he can’t forget Jhanak’s help and will continue to support her if needed. Furious, Aditi declares she will help Jhanak herself — not Rishi.
Precap: Sakhi tells Rishi that Jhanak’s college is asking for admission fees. Rishi offers to pay and arranges for Jhanak to stay in his friend’s flat for the night.
