Jhanak 23rd October 2025 Written Episode, Written Update on TellyUpdates.com
The Episode starts with tension filling the air at Rishi’s home. Neelu asks Aditi to call DG and check about Rishi’s whereabouts since he was supposed to have a meeting with him. But Putul intervenes, saying she doesn’t think Aditi should call. Aditi, already anxious, argues that Rishi left early in the morning and hasn’t returned yet, so she can’t just sit quietly. Putul agrees that she too is worried, calling Rishi her brother, but adds that he’s not the kind of man to sit behind a desk in Aniruddh’s business. Abhimanyu supports her, saying Rishi wants to serve the nation now — and maybe, someday, he’ll consider business if his heart changes.
When Aditi calls DG, she puts the phone on speaker. DG reveals something that stuns everyone — the meeting was cancelled yesterday, and
Moments later, Rishi finally enters the house, visibly tired and emotionally drained. He doesn’t want to talk, but Aditi corners him with questions. Putul teases Aditi for her constant suspicion, while Aditi stands firm, saying DG already confirmed the meeting never happened. Rishi explains that his phone battery died, which is why he couldn’t be reached. When Aditi presses for details, he lies again — claiming he was busy with other work commitments.
Abhimanyu scolds Rishi for not informing anyone. Aditi pushes harder, saying she personally went to the event venue and there was nothing there. Rishi fumbles, saying maybe he mixed up the date because of work stress. But Aditi doesn’t buy it — she looks straight into his eyes and says she doesn’t want to live in constant fear and lies. Rishi avoids her gaze, saying he’s just hungry and tired.
The next morning, Aditi tells everyone she’ll visit her parents before college. Neelu, trying to lighten the mood, asks Rishi to take them all out for dinner since he ruined their previous day’s plan. Rishi agrees. Aditi invites Payal too, who happily says yes. The family starts making dinner plans, with Abhimanyu glued to the news as always. Tanushri teases him, saying he can’t live without his news hour. Aditi then decides to ask Mishti to join, but when Rishi suggests inviting Putul, Aditi refuses, saying Putul isn’t comfortable with them. Indumati and Neelu agree.
Just then, Putul walks in and quietly says that she knows some people don’t like her presence, so she won’t come. She walks away, leaving awkward silence behind. Abhimanyu tries to break the tension by turning up the TV — and suddenly, everyone’s eyes widen as they see Jhanak’s felicitation ceremony on-screen.
Rishi freezes. His speech from the event starts playing, and the entire family stares at him in disbelief.
Meanwhile in Simulboni, Jhanak is preparing to leave for Kolkata. Parashar worries about her living alone, but Jhanak assures him that his and Nutan’s blessings are enough. Kanka slyly says that Rishi will take care of Jhanak, but Jhanak firmly declares she has cut all ties with him. Parashar scolds Kanka for interfering, and an emotional Jhanak walks away in tears.
Back in Kolkata, the storm hits Rishi’s house. Aditi confronts him, accusing him of lying again. Neelu demands to know how he could go to Simulboni when he claimed to be at work. Aditi reminds him that she had already warned him last time. Rishi tries to defend himself, saying he couldn’t reject Jhanak’s teacher’s invitation and went only to honor her achievement.
But Aditi’s patience snaps. She shouts that he went there as Jhanak’s husband, humiliating her in front of everyone. Tanushri and Abhimanyu join in, saying Rishi’s actions have crossed all limits. Payal adds that what he did was deeply disrespectful to Aditi. The atmosphere turns heavy — Aditi’s eyes fill with hurt as she asks, “If you were in my place, what would you have done then?”
Precap: Sakhi informs Rishi that the college management is demanding money for Jhanak’s admission. Jhanak firmly says she doesn’t want his help, but Rishi insists on supporting her. He offers her shelter for the night in his friend’s flat, leaving Jhanak torn between pride and helplessness.
