The episode begins with Rishi finally receiving confirmation from the police inspector that Jhanak has been admitted to the city hospital. His tense search finally gets direction, and he rushes there. Inside the ward, Jhanak lies injured, quietly worrying that her family must be in turmoil. Just then, Rishi arrives, breathless and shaken, staring at her with relief as “Thodi Jagah De De Mujhe” plays softly in the background.
He tells her he searched everywhere for her. Jhanak instantly puts a wall between them, asking why he bothered when she clearly told him to stop caring about her. Rishi questions why she went with Ayush. Jhanak snaps back that it is none of his concern — she never questions him about how or with whom he spends his time.
Rishi, hurt by her coldness, says he was terrified when he couldn’t find her. Jhanak demands to know why. She claims she has no feelings for him. Rishi surprisingly accepts it, saying he only wants her to fight for herself and expose Aniruddh’s truth. Jhanak tells him to go home and focus on Aditi. But Rishi lingers, admitting he can breathe only after seeing her safe. He even insists on returning later to drop her back at the hostel.
Jhanak hides her trembling voice and says she is sleepy. Rishi confesses he can’t forget her, though Aditi is his wife. He admits he becomes jealous when she talks to any man. Jhanak’s bottled emotions finally spill — she says she, too, has feelings, and it hurts when he scolds her in front of Aditi. If he truly loved her, he wouldn’t treat her like that.
Rishi quietly declares that she is the most important person in his life. Jhanak asks him to leave, wanting to focus on her goals. But he gently holds her hand and confesses he truly loves her. Their eyes lock, tension rising again as the emotional song fills the room.
Meanwhile, at home, Aditi grows restless because Rishi isn’t answering her calls. The family divides yet again — Tanushri concerns herself only with Rishi, while Putul repeatedly asks why nobody is worried about Jhanak. Arguments spark as Aditi learns Rishi picked up Putul’s call but not hers, feeding her insecurity. Dadabhai points out how Jhanak never demanded anything during the divorce, but the family still misjudges her.
Elsewhere, Arshi informs Bablu and Anjana that Jhanak is missing after the blast. She heartlessly assumes Jhanak must have died or gotten injured. Bablu scolds her, shaken by the thought.
Later, Rishi returns home. Aditi demands answers. Tanushri claims they were all worried. Aditi bluntly asks whether he met Jhanak. Rishi confirms he did and updates Dadabhai on her condition. When Neelu taunts him for not calling Aditi, Rishi shuts her down, saying she should not interfere in their marriage. The tension in the room turns heavy.
