The Episode starts with Arshi telling Siddharth that Anirudh is calling. He tells her to answer it. When she picks up, Anirudh reminds her that tomorrow’s the 8th. Arshi says she knows—it’s his wedding day—and assures him the divorce will be done within an hour, so there won’t be any trouble. Anirudh says he can’t marry Jhanak unless the divorce happens. Arshi says she’s not going to leave Siddharth or try to stop the wedding. She agrees to meet at the court. Anirudh thanks her. Arshi jokes that he didn’t even invite her to his wedding. Anirudh says he still wants to keep things civil between them. Jhanak overhears this and feels stunned. Anirudh says he can invite Siddharth too. Arshi replies that Siddharth is busy and she won’t go alone. After hanging up, she tells Siddharth their wedding
Jhanak asks Anirudh what Arshi said. Anirudh tells her he’s going to court after the haldi to sign the divorce papers. Jhanak wonders why he’s still doing this on the wedding day. Anirudh insists it’ll be a quick visit and reassures her not to worry. When Jhanak asks again about Arshi, he tells her everything. She reminds him they’ll marry only after the divorce, and he promises everything will go as planned. He hugs her and tells her not to be upset. She smiles and says she isn’t. Lalon asks Kajol if things are fine. Kajol says Appu’s health is improving. Lalon is confused because the doctor recommended more tests. Kajol stays hopeful and says nothing serious will happen. Lalon brings up their fight. Kajol says she’s not upset anymore. Lalon admits he never fell for her romantically, but she still feels like family. Kajol says she gets anxious when Appu isn’t around. Lalon says Appu is like Kajol’s daughter. Appu shows up just then, ready to go home. The nurse tells them test results will come later. Jhanak arrives for her haldi ceremony. Mrinalini tells the men they’re not allowed. Choton jokes that someone has to take photos. Appu agrees and asks for a photo with Jhanak. She compliments Jhanak and asks where Anirudh is. Laal says he’ll apply haldi to him later. The haldi begins with dancing, and Jhanak joins in.
Anirudh tries calling Arshi, but Siddharth tells her not to answer. Anirudh calls Siddharth instead, and he picks up, congratulating Anirudh. When Anirudh asks about Arshi, Siddharth says she has a fever and won’t make it to court. He encourages Anirudh to go ahead and marry Jhanak. Anirudh is unsure about marrying without the divorce. Siddharth insists Arshi isn’t well, and nothing can be done. Anirudh asks for the lawyer’s number, and Siddharth agrees. Anirudh walks downstairs, confused and wondering if he made a mistake trusting Arshi. He tells himself Arshi is with Siddharth, so she shouldn’t betray him. Mimi notices his mood, and Anirudh says he’s fine but wants to speak to Jhanak.
Bipasha tells Tanuja this wedding won’t happen. Anirudh takes Jhanak aside and tells her about Arshi’s sudden illness and the delay in the divorce. He asks her not to cancel the wedding. Jhanak is shocked, but before she can react, Choton drags Anirudh for the haldi. Jhanak gets dressed as a bride. Anjana asks Appu to get ready, but Appu refuses. Anjana realizes she has a fever. Jhanak tells her to take medicine. Both Anjana and Appu compliment her. Anjana asks Jhanak to never leave Anirudh. Jhanak quietly assures her she’s not thinking of leaving.
Precap: Jhanak is seen in a village, fighting for farmers and raising a child. Her husband comes face-to-face with Anirudh. They argue.
