The episode begins with Aditi lashing out at Jhanak, accusing her of inheriting interference and troublemaking from Nutan. Rishi immediately tries to calm her, but Aditi snaps at him. She claims she didn’t sleep all night because of Jhanak. Hurt and angry, Jhanak finally speaks up and vows she will prove who her real father is—and that her mother was an honest woman. She says the truth will come out someday, and Aditi will have to face it.
Aditi mocks Jhanak for claiming another woman’s husband and another girl’s father. Rishi takes Aditi’s phone away and asks Jhanak why she interfered in his life. Jhanak insists the call didn’t come from her. Aditi calls her a liar, but Jhanak begs Rishi to trust her. When Aditi questions why he should trust Jhanak at all, Jhanak reminds her that Rishi was once her husband and that, even today, they understand each other better than people think. This only infuriates Aditi more.
Rishi finally tells Jhanak that he won’t tolerate her talking to Aditi like this. He says Aditi’s anger is justified and that he cannot keep stepping in every time. Jhanak accepts this. She apologizes and promises she won’t call him again, saying the responsibility is hers since the call came from her number. Her voice breaks as she disconnects.
Mishti overhears everything.
A confused Jhanak questions her roommate about the call, but the roommate denies using her phone. Jhanak decides she must stay alert from now on.
Later, Ayush meets Jhanak and asks whether her scholarship money has arrived. She says it will come the next day. When he invites her to buy books and create a library card, she agrees. Mishti sees them together and starts taunting Jhanak, but Jhanak calmly replies that Ayush is helping her and isn’t like bullies.
Meanwhile, Aditi tells Rishi she thinks he’s suddenly trying to drop her at college because he wants to go meet Jhanak. Rishi assures her that he scolded Jhanak and wants no interference between them. Aditi bluntly asks if he loves Jhanak. Rishi denies it, saying he only cares for her as a person. Aditi admits she feels insecure. Rishi comforts her, reminding her that he is her husband and will stand with her.
On the way to the library, Jhanak opens up to Ayush. She shares her painful past—how her father never accepted her, how her marriage with Rishi ended for Aditi’s sake, and how she still can’t forget him because she truly loved him. Ayush promises lifelong friendship.
Suddenly, a massive bomb blast shatters the moment. Jhanak is thrown to the ground and injured as chaos erupts. Ambulances and police rush to the scene.
Back at home, Surjeet suggests celebrating Dadabhai and Indumati’s anniversary. But the festive mood dies when the family sees breaking news of the blast.
Mishti is safe, but Jhanak isn’t answering her phone.
Rishi immediately rushes toward the college, panic written all over his face.
The episode ends.
