The Episode starts with Jhanak coming downstairs, veiled, alongside Ahaan. Ketki introduces her to the police inspector and strictly instructs her not to remove the veil. Anirudh remarks that the Mu-dikhai ceremony was already held, and breaking house rules by revealing her face is not allowed. He reassures Rihaan that there are no criminals in their home.

Vihaan arrives and questions the situation. Anirudh explains everything to him, while Rihaan questions Jhanak about her name. Vihaan intervenes, introducing Jhanak as his wife, Avni. When Rihaan demands to see her face, Ketki firmly states the veil stays on. As tension rises, Ahaan cries, prompting Ketki to send Jhanak back upstairs. Rihaan continues questioning Jhanak, who lies about her name, saying it is Avni.

Meanwhile, Choton firmly tells Mrinalini’s father that he cannot abandon his brother Shubh during a tough time. He vows to stay with his family and calls out Mrinalini’s father’s unfair conditions for their marriage. Despite Bablu’s attempt to mediate, Mrinalini’s father refuses to reconsider unless his conditions are met. Choton apologizes and rejects the proposal, saying he cannot compromise his responsibilities.

Rihaan confronts Vihaan, expressing doubts about “Avni.” He finds it hard to believe that an American woman would be so shy. Anirudh defends Vihaan’s wife, asserting that she is respecting house traditions. Rihaan explains his investigation pertains to an attempted murder case, which relieves Jhanak. Despite the tension, Anirudh urges Rihaan to search elsewhere for the criminal.

Later, Mrinalini’s father accuses Choton of targeting Mrinalini’s salary. Mrinalini defends Choton, asserting he never asked for money, but her father remains adamant. Hurt by the accusations, Choton decides to call off the marriage, leaving Mrinalini devastated.

Ketki scolds Rihaan for suspecting their family, while Praveen Kumar denies any criminal connections. Babuji challenges Rihaan’s claims, asking why they would shelter a criminal. Rihaan eventually leaves, warning he may return if needed. Ketki expresses gratitude for Anirudh’s support and praises him for protecting the family. The family invites Anirudh to visit again, appreciating his loyalty and quick thinking.

Tanuja suggests postponing Mimi’s marriage, but Shubh disagrees, feeling isolated after being accused and thrown out of the house. Later, Sejal implies the police attention started with Jhanak’s arrival, sparking concern within the family. Vihaan asks Jhanak if she knows Anirudh.
