The Episode starts with Jhanak thanking Sakhi for keeping her secret. She says that since Rishi is going to marry Aditi, she doesn’t want anyone to create trouble for him. Sakhi, shocked, asks how Rishi can marry Aditi. Jhanak replies that her marriage with Rishi was forced and holds no meaning. Concerned for her friend’s future, Sakhi compares Jhanak’s situation with Nutan’s tragic life. But Jhanak firmly declares that she will not repeat Nutan’s mistake. She promises to carve out her own path, focus on her career, and achieve something in life. She even defends Rishi’s actions, though Sakhi feels helpless and guilty for not being able to protect Jhanak.
The next morning, Indumati reminds Dadabhai to get ready. Dadabhai wonders if his presence is necessary. Neelu quickly tells him it’s Rishi and Aditi’s wedding. Still hesitant, Dadabhai says he feels unwell. Payal insists this is a big day for the family, and Abhimanyu questions how he can miss Rishi’s marriage. Tanushri reminds him that as the elder of the family, his presence is significant. Finally, Indumati adds that they must leave on time, and Dadabhai agrees to accompany them.
Soon after, Rishi comes downstairs and finds the women dressed extravagantly. He reminds them it’s only a registered marriage and wonders why they are over-prepared. Kaju and Badam begin teasing him, calling him the groom. Irritated, Rishi asks why they keep saying that. Badam mischievously replies that he is the groom, and Rishi realizes Badam’s words sound just like Jhanak’s teasing. Disturbed, he excuses himself to attend a phone call.
Meanwhile, Neelu tells Putul to change into a more expensive saree, but Putul refuses. Their argument escalates until Abhimanyu intervenes and asks them to stop. Rishi returns just then and gets angry again when Kaju and Badam call him the groom. One of the guests notices his temper and directly asks about Jhanak. Indumati quickly says Jhanak has gone to her village for exams and won’t come back. Another guest pointedly asks whether Jhanak still applies vermilion in Rishi’s name. Tanushri immediately responds that it doesn’t matter since Rishi was forced into that marriage and never accepted Jhanak as his wife.
Back in Simulboni, the doctor checks Jhanak and says the medicines are not working. He advises that she should be shifted to a city hospital for better treatment. Parashar agrees and says he will consult her in-laws. The doctor then asks where Jhanak’s husband is. Parashar answers that Rishi is in Kolkata. The doctor stresses that Rishi must be informed right away so arrangements for an ambulance can be made.
At the same time, Aditi comes downstairs and finds Rishi busy on a call with his colleague. A police officer approaches Rishi and inquires about Jhanak. Rishi explains that she went to her village for exams. He confesses that he was responsible for her accident and that she couldn’t meet her mother for the last time because of him. Out of guilt, he had taken Jhanak to her village. He adds that he will never forgive himself if anything happens to her. Elsewhere, Jhanak recalls her memories with Rishi and breaks down in tears.
Precap: Jhanak tells Sakhi she doesn’t want to go to her in-laws. Meanwhile, Parashar calls Rishi to inform him about Jhanak’s critical condition.
