The Episode starts with Rishi telling Aniruddh that Nutan wanted Jhanak to study in a city college, and it was Jhanak’s dream too. He asks how Aniruddh can think of sending her to Simulboni. Aniruddh questions why Rishi is taking this responsibility. Rishi replies that Aniruddh isn’t fulfilling his duty, so he is stepping in. He reminds him that Jhanak is his daughter and says none of this would have happened if Aniruddh had accepted her earlier.
Aniruddh refuses, saying he can’t give his name to Jhanak because Aditi will never tolerate it. He pleads with Rishi to keep this truth hidden. He warns that if Rishi tells Aditi, he will deny it and Aditi will believe him, not Rishi. Rishi, frustrated, says he has said what he had to say. He snatches Nutan’s letter from Aniruddh, declaring Aniruddh
Meanwhile, in Simulboni, Nutan asks Parashar to promise her that Jhanak will become a doctor. Parashar assures her she will live to see it, but Nutan says her time is ending. Parashar breaks down, asking how this can happen so suddenly. Nutan sadly says she ruined his life, but he insists she completed it. With teary eyes, he tells her she has been his strength and will remain in his heart forever. Nutan asks him to remarry after her death, but Parashar refuses, saying he can’t imagine life without her. Nutan tells him her memories will live on, but God is calling her. Parashar cries, holding her hand.
Later, Abhimanyu confronts Rishi, saying his trip to Simulboni has only created more problems. Tanushri adds that Jhanak’s own family isn’t taking responsibility, so why should they? Rishi admits he knows they dislike his decision, but he followed his heart. Payal asks if he plans to send Jhanak to Simulboni after her discharge. To everyone’s shock, Rishi says Jhanak will stay in their house.
Tanushri furiously declares she will leave if Jhanak stays. Rishi calmly says he has no other option. She questions what right Jhanak has to stay there. Dadabhai reminds them Nutan is critical and they can’t tell Jhanak about her condition now, nor send her away. Rishi explains Jhanak must recover before traveling. Abhimanyu demands to know why Rishi’s attitude has suddenly changed.
Rishi replies he is only reacting to the situation and doesn’t think he’s wrong. Indumati asks why he feels responsible for Jhanak. Rishi says if the family disagrees, he will find a hostel or PG for her. But since the one truly responsible isn’t stepping up, he must. Dadabhai pointedly asks if Rishi has found Jhanak’s father.
In Simulboni, Nutan takes her last breath. Parashar screams her name in agony as the villagers gather, crying. At the same moment in the hospital, Jhanak murmurs Nutan’s name in her sleep.
Precap: Putul helps Jhanak into the house. Jhanak insists she wants to go to Simulboni. Rishi asks her to wait two more days. Aditi angrily questions why he hid Nutan’s death from Jhanak.
