The Episode starts with Putul warning Jhanak not to go to Aniruddh’s house, reminding her that her father would have guided her in her studies. Jhanak reassures Putul that she can handle things on her own. She says she will meet everyone but will not return to the house. Putul tries to make Jhanak understand who truly cares for her, noting that she must still be hurt by Aniruddh’s refusal to accept her. Jhanak insists she doesn’t want a father like Aniruddh; Parashar, who raised her with love despite not being her biological father, is the one she considers her true father.
Putul advises Jhanak not to meet Dadabhai before leaving, fearing he cannot handle her decision. When Dadabhai arrives, he asks Putul not to question Jhanak, sensing she won’t give an answer. Jhanak explains that she wants to stay but cannot, as Aditi doesn’t trust her and daily household drama makes it impossible to be happy there. She tells them she will miss everyone. Dadabhai questions her reasoning, but Jhanak feels everyone hates her and believes leaving is the only way for peace. Hearing a car horn, she quietly departs, leaving Dadabhai to tell Putul not to stop her. Mishti notices Jhanak forgot her books.
Later, Arshi takes Jhanak to her house for the exams. She informs Anjana and instructs the servant Suraj to show Jhanak the outhouse. Anjana worries about Jhanak staying alone where boys also live. Jhanak confidently declares she can protect herself, pulling out a billhook machete from her bag. Arshi questions her behavior, and Anjana admits Jhanak has a point. Arshi scolds Anjana for defending her, insisting the city isn’t safe for carrying weapons. Jhanak explains she needs it for protection, and Arshi argues danger won’t come since everyone is responsible. Jhanak counters that it’s not about money—it’s about her journey.
Anjana offers Jhanak the guest room, promising to keep an eye on her. Jhanak insists she will work instead of eating free food. Arshi warns she will complain about Jhanak to Aniruddh. Jhanak remarks that she could have exposed Aniruddh earlier but chooses not to, criticizing their double standards. She agrees to handle decorations for the next day, showing her fearless attitude.
The next day, Rishi and Aditi prepare to visit Aniruddh’s house. Putul gives Jhanak’s books to Rishi, who takes responsibility. Aditi and Tanushri bicker over Putul, while Indumati advises moderation. Putul defends Jhanak’s maturity and leaves, proud of her. The episode ends with everyone preparing for the day ahead.
