The Episode starts with Putul telling Rishi to protect his love. She says she hopes Rishi and Aditi’s love remains strong forever. Indumati asks Putul why she’s speaking this way. Putul replies that she’s saying it from her own life experiences. Dadabhai tells her that what happened with her won’t necessarily happen with everyone else. Putul clarifies that she isn’t jealous of Rishi’s happiness. Rishi then tells Dadabhai that he urgently needs to meet Aditi. Payal asks if Aditi’s family has allowed her to meet him. Rishi requests them not to call Aditi’s family, saying Aditi will manage things on her own. Surjeet teases that maybe Rishi is planning to put an engagement ring on Aditi’s finger and asks him to take them along. Rishi tells them to stop joking around. Dadabhai reminds him to return
Rishi goes to the kitchen and asks Jhanak if she has spoken to anyone from Simulboni. Jhanak calmly replies that she hasn’t spoken to anyone. Rishi warns her not to lie. Jhanak firmly tells him that she isn’t lying. She says she is human too and feels hurt when he misbehaves with her. She questions why she should accept this constant disrespect and tolerate such behaviour. She reminds him that she doesn’t eat for free there; she works hard and earns her place. She adds that she has the courage to speak the truth, unlike him, who’s always lying. Rishi tells her to keep quiet and stay away from his marriage matters before leaving.
At the coffee shop, Rishi meets Aditi and asks what she wanted to discuss. Aditi tells him about the call she received from Krishnendu. Rishi is shocked hearing this and recalls his marriage to Jhanak. Aditi says she knows she’s hurting him by bringing it up, but the call came suddenly, and she didn’t tell anyone else. Rishi tells her that only what she thinks matters to him. Aditi admits she felt scared after hearing the call. Rishi asks what’s on her mind. Aditi asks him to tell her why she received such a call, adding that the person claimed to have proof. Rishi suggests that maybe someone wants revenge by spreading lies about him. He remembers how Krishnendu spread rumours in his office. Rishi reassures her that he loves her. They talk about their marriage plans and honeymoon. Aditi tells him she loves him deeply and won’t let anyone come between them. Rishi thinks to himself that Aditi will understand him when he tells her the truth.
Later, Krishnendu calls Rishi, sarcastically saying he hasn’t been invited to the wedding. Rishi angrily tells him to stop spreading false rumours. Krishnendu asks to meet and talk. Soon after, Krishnendu tells Rishi that he has already told Aditi the truth. He questions whether Rishi is doing the right thing, accusing him of taking advantage of Jhanak. Rishi snaps and tells him to stop talking nonsense. Krishnendu claims he has proof to back up what he’s saying. Rishi demands to know what he wants. Krishnendu says he wants fifty lakh rupees. Rishi thinks to himself that something terribly wrong happened with him back in Simulboni.
Precap: After ending his call with Aditi, Rishi turns around to see Jhanak standing there. He angrily asks her if she was eavesdropping and warns her not to cross her limits.
