The Episode starts with Jhanak opening up to Anirudh, saying she’s feeling guilty about what happened with Arshi. Anirudh calmly tells her that Arshi made a choice for her own happiness, and now it’s Jhanak’s turn to live hers. He makes it clear there’s nothing left between him and Arshi. But Jhanak still feels she’s the reason Arshi got hurt. Anirudh gently assures her that he never truly loved Arshi, so none of this is her fault.
Still, Jhanak finds herself unsure. Can she really make Anirudh happy? She’s worried something might go wrong at the last minute. But Anirudh stays firm—nothing bad will happen. He encourages her to think positively. She then nervously brings up the topic of his divorce, asking what happens if it doesn’t come through before the 8th. Anirudh tells her they
Just then, Arshi walks in, saying she’s there to collect some important papers. She asks Jhanak how she’s doing. Jhanak says she’s fine and offers to bring her something to eat. Arshi declines, saying Siddharth will be picking her up soon. Anirudh invites her to sit, but Arshi tells him not to act formal—after all, she used to live in that room. She asks for a glass of water, and Jhanak heads off.
Arshi casually asks Anirudh why he’s not at the office. He replies he has an afternoon meeting. She says it’s good to see him happy and admits she wasn’t able to bring him that kind of joy. She quietly takes her documents.
Jhanak comes back with the water and some sweets. Arshi teases her for treating her like a guest. Jhanak shyly denies it. Arshi then asks if she’s the one who cleaned the cupboard. Jhanak says yes, she was just tidying up the house. That’s when Anirudh mentions the wedding date. Arshi responds by confirming their divorce date is fixed and even congratulates them. Anirudh asks when she’s planning to get married. Arshi says she’ll let him know and leaves.
Elsewhere, Kajol is helping Appu drape a saree. She says Lalon won’t be able to take his eyes off her. Appu blushes, but Kajol tells her not to be shy. Appu asks where everyone has gone. Kajol says they all went to the temple. When Appu realizes Kajol isn’t getting ready, she says she won’t sing unless Kajol comes with her. Kajol says she doesn’t want her to sing either—Appu’s not well.
Appu reminds her she already took advance payment and needs to perform to get the rest. She needs the money for her family. Kajol worries but says she understands—Appu has a family to look after. Appu gently reminds her that Kajol is family too. She talks about Jhimli and Kajol’s future, saying Kajol should just accept that she loves Lalon. She says she won’t be around forever and someone has to take responsibility. Kajol refuses to believe anything will happen to Appu. But Appu is serious—she wants Kajol to promise she’ll take care of the family. She even says she’ll speak to Anuradha. Kajol stops her, saying it wouldn’t be right, but Appu insists she knows what’s best.
The family returns from the temple. Kajol tells Lalon that Appu still isn’t feeling well and shouldn’t go anywhere. But Appu is determined. She asks Kajol to come along. Lalon says if Kajol comes, she can keep an eye on Appu. Kajol refuses, saying she has other things to do. Appu then says Lalon has hurt Kajol before, which is why she’s upset. Kajol brushes it off and says she’s leaving. Appu asks her to eat something before going—Anuradha has cooked for her too.
Kajol dryly responds that Anuradha cooks for her only because she’s taking care of Appu. Jhimli picks up on Kajol’s mood and teases that she’s acting angry today. Appu asks them both to stop bickering. She tells Kajol she’ll help her get ready one day. Kajol replies that maybe Appu can do that for her funeral. Anuradha scolds her for saying such things. Lalon hurries her to serve food, saying he needs to take Appu to the performance. Appu tells Kajol again to look after everyone after she’s gone. Jhimli scolds her for being morbid. Kajol says she might die before Appu and heads off to serve the meal. Appu tells Lalon not to upset Kajol anymore. Vinayak asks Shrishti where Arshi is staying now. Shrishti says she’s with Siddharth. Vinayak comments that Arshi reminds him of Shrishti. Shrishti makes it clear she didn’t influence Arshi’s decisions. Bablu mentions he heard Arshi had stopped by. Bipasha adds that Arshi said the divorce will be finalized before the 8th. Tanuja urges them to hurry up with the wedding—it doesn’t look good for an unmarried girl to be staying in their house.
Precap: Bipasha tells Arshi about Anirudh and Jhanak’s upcoming Ashirwaad ceremony. Arshi, with fire in her eyes, says she’ll definitely take revenge on Jhanak.
