The Episode starts with Jhanak heading to school. Her teacher is delighted to see her and asks if she has studied well. Jhanak responds that she will do her best in the exam. The teacher notices Jhanak seems unwell and comments on her fever. She remarks that Jhanak is too young to be thinking about marriage but is glad that her in-laws are supporting her education. She urges Jhanak to revise carefully since the exam will start in just 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, Aditi questions Rishi about why he is so involved in Jhanak’s life. Rishi insists that he must take responsibility for her. Anjana reminds both of them to avoid misunderstandings, while Bablu points out that the support mainly involves finances, hoping Aditi will understand. Rishi clarifies that it isn’t just about money—he reveals that Jhanak will study in Kolkata. Aditi asks why he is so invested in Jhanak’s future. Rishi reassures her that he won’t force her into marriage and explains that if she doubts him now, she will likely continue to do so after marriage. He urges her to resolve her doubts first.
Aditi asks him to clearly say whether he doesn’t want to marry her. Rishi clarifies that he isn’t rejecting the marriage outright. Aniruddh tells Rishi to understand Aditi’s perspective. Rishi states that Aditi is free to make her own decision and admits he doesn’t want to marry someone who doubts him. Arshi notes that Rishi seems unwilling to proceed with the marriage. Later, Rishi calls Jhanak to wish her well for the exam. Jhanak mentions that she was revising at school. Rishi notices her strained voice and asks if she is unwell. Jhanak downplays it, saying she caught a cold but is fine after taking medicine. Rishi warns her to take care and promises to check on her after the exam. Jhanak admits she’s nervous since she hasn’t prepared fully. Rishi encourages her, assuring her talent will see her through.
Jhanak admits she hasn’t thought about joining college in Kolkata yet. Rishi tells her that studying there would help her learn new things. She asks if Aditi is still upset with him; Rishi reassures her that Aditi is fine and advises Jhanak to focus solely on her exams. He reminds her of the importance of becoming a doctor for Simulboni, where the village lacks medical help. Jhanak quietly reflects on her responsibility to stay in Simulboni.
