The Episode starts with Jhanak telling everyone she plans to open a clinic after becoming a doctor. Sakhi asks if Rishi has come, and Jhanak instructs her to call him. Sakhi points out that everyone in the village knows about Rishi’s second marriage to Aditi and questions how he could marry again. Jhanak calmly explains that she has no claim over Rishi, that the forced marriage held no real value, and that Rishi did right by choosing Aditi.
Mangal questions why Rishi had treated Jhanak well in the past. She clarifies that it was only an act, revealing there was never a true husband-wife relationship between them. Parashar is shocked, but Jhanak insists she wants to focus entirely on her studies and asks them to stop discussing Rishi. Parashar assures her he trusts her judgment, and Dhamu offers
Meanwhile, at Rishi’s house, Aditi arrives with Arshi and Rishi. Abhimanyu thanks Arshi for bringing Aditi and notes that it would have been better if Aniruddh had come too. Aditi says she is giving Rishi one last chance. Rishi mentions that Jhanak has left Kolkata, hoping this will make Aditi happy. Tanushri adds that Jhanak will not return even if she comes back to Kolkata. Aditi asks Rishi to stop looking upset and warns him not to bring ego into their relationship. Neelu advises him to be careful, reminding him not to repeat mistakes. Aditi emphasizes that he should not give importance to Jhanak or her family and urges him to focus on his wife and family.
Dadabhai points out that Jhanak is capable of earning a scholarship on her own, and Arshi asks if she will definitely return to Kolkata. Rishi states they cannot stop her. Arshi insists that no one maintain any ties with Jhanak, and Aditi asks Rishi to control his emotions as his heart still melts for Jhanak. Tanushri and Indumati echo the sentiment, warning the household not to talk about Jhanak. Putul expresses that Jhanak has rights, but Abhimanyu dismisses it, and Dadabhai clarifies that she was only voicing her opinion. Rishi reassures Aditi that she should not stress.
Back in Simulboni, Parashar questions why Rishi didn’t accept Jhanak. She explains that they cannot expect everyone to understand or accept her. Parashar predicts Rishi may regret it later, but Jhanak insists she won’t dwell on it and wants to serve her village. She asserts she will not contact Rishi, nor will he contact her. Mangal mentions he would have confronted Rishi if he came, angering Jhanak. Parashar asks them to drop the subject and instructs Sakhi to prepare a meal. Jhanak remains firm in her decision not to see Rishi again.
