The Episode starts with Jhanak’s friends teasing her about a possible romance between Jhanak and Rishi. Jhanak tells them to stop and leave, as she needs to study. Her friends warn her not to change after going to college in the city, but Jhanak confidently says she will complete her studies while staying in Simulboni.
Meanwhile, Aditi asks Rishi to explain the whole situation to his family. Rishi tells them that the villagers assumed he and Jhanak were a couple, so they stayed in a room just to act and save her reputation. Abhimanyu questions why Rishi didn’t return with Aditi. Rishi explains that Jhanak couldn’t meet her mother one last time because of him, so he stayed back to support her. He clarifies that sharing a room doesn’t mean anything happened between them. Aditi challenges Rishi, asking how he would feel in her place. Rishi responds that it was wrong of Aditi to call Jhanak characterless. Aniruddh questions why Rishi is defending Jhanak so strongly. Rishi warns Aniruddh not to speak about Jhanak, saying even he could say things in anger. Tanushri tells Rishi to stop the argument.
Surjeet asks why Rishi is threatening Aniruddh. Rishi cryptically says Aniruddh knows something. Aditi demands to know what it is. Rishi says it’s between him and Aniruddh, so she should not interfere. He further asserts Aniruddh has no right to comment. Aditi remains confused, but Aniruddh suggests they’ll talk later and tells Aditi to decide whether she wants to marry Rishi. Aditi says she needs time.
Later, Rishi calls Jhanak to check on her. He asks if she has eaten, and Jhanak says she is studying after eating. Rishi encourages her to study well and get good marks so she can secure a medical college seat. Jhanak says she wants to be a good doctor but is worried about fees. Rishi tells her not to worry about money.
While talking, Jhanak’s friends start teasing her again. Rishi overhears and asks what’s happening. Jhanak explains they came to see her. Rishi offers to disconnect the call, but Jhanak asks him to stay silent. After sending her friends away, Jhanak asks Rishi what he wanted to say. Hesitantly, Rishi tries to tell her that his marriage has been cancelled for now. Jhanak interrupts, telling him she has an exam on the scheduled marriage day and can’t attend it anyway. She tells him to keep Aditi happy because he loves her, then disconnects the call and cries.
The next day, Rishi visits Aditi’s house. He admits that some of his decisions have created distance between them and says Jhanak has become his responsibility that he cannot abandon. Aditi asks why he can’t get rid of Jhanak.

Aditi asks Rishi if their marriage will happen or not. Rishi says marriage shouldn’t happen just because they were in a relationship. If they aren’t happy, what’s the point? He wonders why, despite loving Aditi, he hopes the marriage won’t happen.
