The Episode starts with Dadabhai discussing the wedding food menu while Surjeet writes it down. Jhanak recalls her marriage with Rishi. Dadabhai asks where Jhanak is. Tanushri calls her over. Surjeet tells Jhanak they are finalising Rishi’s wedding menu. Payal asks her preferences, and Tanushri notices Jhanak seems upset, but she denies it.

Indumati says quality matters more than quantity, but Dadabhai insists on listing everything for reputation’s sake. She reminds him not to forget sweets. Surjeet says Dadabhai covered everything, and the menu is perfect. Dadabhai proudly says he worked hard on it.

Payal then asks what Jhanak will wear at the wedding. Surjeet suggests taking her shopping, but Dadabhai jokes that their budget is over. Payal asks if Jhanak can wear an old saree. Jhanak calmly

says she never asked for anything and isn’t even thinking of attending. Dadabhai says problem solved – she can stay home and manage things. Jhanak says she is just a maid, and they have already done enough for her. Dadabhai asks what’s wrong.

Jhanak tells them she will return to her village after Rishi’s wedding. Dadabhai thinks she’s saying this because of Rishi and refuses to let her go. Jhanak insists she wants to leave. Tanushri asks what’s troubling her. Surjeet tells her to stay happy while she is there. Payal requests her to share their happiness.

Jhanak says she is no one to them and they will easily forget her. Dadabhai says only her villagers matter to her, and he was foolish to call her his daughter. Jhanak cries, saying only her village deity knows how important Dadabhai is to her. Dadabhai hugs her, refusing to let her go, but Jhanak says she has no choice.

Elsewhere, Aniruddh tells Anjana he invited Rumi’s in-laws to the wedding. Rumi says she would have stopped him. Arshi taunts that Rumi shouldn’t have left them after her husband’s death. Aniruddh reminds her that Rumi was tortured there. Rumi regrets not bringing her daughter along. Aditi comforts her, saying her daughter will realise her love one day. Aniruddh feels like a failed brother and apologises to Rumi.

The next day, Dadabhai prepares Jhanak for her exam. Tanushri worries as Jhanak hasn’t eaten since morning. Jhanak says she can’t learn everything in a day. Abhimanyu brings chef Sundar, and Jhanak argues with him. Abhimanyu asks Sundar to freshen up and make tea, but Jhanak refuses him entry into the kitchen. Sundar realises Jhanak works there too and tells them to fire her. Dadabhai announces that Jhanak will no longer work from today.

Precap: Krishnand tells Aditi her marriage with Rishi is tomorrow, but Rishi is already married. Aditi scolds him.
