The Episode starts with Tanushri telling Rishi that their family will cut all ties with him if he accepts Jhanak as his wife. Payal questions why Rishi didn’t stop Aditi from going to Simulboni. Aditi explains that Rishi told her to stay in Simulboni until Nutan’s shradh ceremony is over. However, she feels betrayed because Rishi chose Jhanak over her. Tanushri supports Aditi and claims they are united in this decision. Indumati adds that she suspects the villagers have used black magic to control Rishi’s mind.
Aditi stands strong and tells everyone not to blame others for Rishi’s choices since he went to Simulboni on his own will. She makes it clear that Rishi has already accepted his marriage with Jhanak. Tanushri threatens that Rishi will never be allowed to enter their house with Jhanak.
Meanwhile, in Simulboni, the sacred shradh ceremony of Nutan begins. Parashar questions Nutan’s spirit about why she abandoned him and little Jhanak. Jhanak feels completely lost and heartbroken as she cries over the absence of both her parents. The priest calls Jhanak to perform the pind daan ritual, but she hesitates, saying she doesn’t have the courage to bid goodbye to her mother. Rishi comforts her, telling her that she must perform the ritual. He reminds her that her mother’s blessings are always with her and calls Jhanak the shadow of Nutan, assuring her that he will never break the promise made to Nutan.
With great sorrow, Jhanak performs the ritual, supported by Rishi and Parashar. Rishi finds himself strangely emotional as he watches Jhanak perform the sacred rites. Parashar consoles the crying girl, acknowledging the weight of the moment.
The next morning, Jhanak prepares food for Rishi and urges him to eat on his way. Rishi insists he would have eaten at a dhaba, but Jhanak says she prefers giving him homemade food. Rishi advises her to study well for the upcoming exams. Despite having a fever, Jhanak hides her illness from him, thinking she has no right to share her pain.
Before leaving, Rishi reminds Jhanak that Nutan is always with her and time will eventually heal wounds. Jhanak tells him not to go hungry and offers him some bread that Parashar brought. Rishi gives her money for the food, but Jhanak refuses to accept it, saying she is not greedy. Rishi tells her to return the money once she starts earning. Jhanak accepts it, and Rishi encourages her to fulfill Nutan’s dream. She says no one will ever be like her mother, and Rishi promises that one day, she will regain everything she lost. Rishi asks her to take care.
