Jhanak, heavily intoxicated, blurts out the most explosive truth of her life—she loves Rishi more than anyone, and though their marriage broke long ago, her feelings never did. Mishti and Aayush freeze, stunned by her confession. Aayush tries calming her, advising her to return to the hostel, but Jhanak clings to her emotions and insists she wants to stay with her “friends.” When Aayush questions Mishti for allowing Jhanak to get drunk, Mishti casually says Jhanak made her own choices.
Jhanak grows dizzy, saying she only had “juice,” then breaks into tears, missing her mother. Aayush gently supports her and tries taking her to the medical room. Mishti, however, has other plans. She and her gang lock the room from outside, trapping Aayush and Jhanak together. They even play “Hum Tum Ek Kamre Mein Band Ho,” mocking them before running off. Aayush shouts, bewildered at the childish prank.
Meanwhile, at home, Aditi rants about Saanjbati praising Jhanak. Neelu, Tanushri, and Aditi frame Jhanak as the root cause of every problem. They accuse Rishi of being too soft toward her. When Rishi walks in, the interrogation begins. They demand to know why he was “roaming” with Jhanak. Rishi pushes back—Jhanak was free, Saanjbati wanted to meet her, and he simply respected her wish. He reminds Aditi that he is her husband, not her puppet. Aditi asks whether he wants to live with her or Jhanak, fueling the tension.
The next morning, Priyanshi tells Mishti that Jhanak and Aayush still haven’t come out of the room. Mishti rushes home, spinning a dramatic tale for her family: Jhanak got drunk, Aayush took her to the medical room, and they’ve stayed there all night. Shockwaves hit the family. Mishti adds that Jhanak drunkenly confessed her love for Rishi. Aditi panics about reputation, while Indumati grows furious.
Rishi tries to maintain logic. Nobody at the college knows him, so what reputation is Aditi talking about? Mishti adds fuel, saying Jhanak repeatedly took Rishi’s name, and people may misunderstand. Rishi, hurt and confused, wonders how Jhanak could behave like this after he confessed his feelings to her the previous day.
At college, Priyanshi and her group escalate matters by showing a video to the principal—Jhanak drunkingly confessing her love, and Jhanak and Aayush locked in a room together. The principal grows furious and calls them.
Precap: Rishi sees misleading photos of Jhanak with Aayush and jumps to the worst conclusion, setting the stage for a painful misunderstanding.
