The Episode starts with a gentle moment as Rishi helps a dizzy Jhanak walk toward the car. Once they leave, Rishi can’t help smiling at her reflection in the rearview mirror, blissfully unaware of the chaos waiting at home.

Meanwhile, Aditi calls Sanjhbati in panic, asking whether Rishi has reached. Sanjhbati assures her that Rishi left long ago after dropping her off, mentioning that Jhanak was also in the car with them. She praises Jhanak as a sweet, grounded girl. Aditi instantly fumes, warning Sanjhbati that Jhanak is “cunning and dangerous,” promising to reveal the “real truth” about her later. Sanjhbati, however, trusts her own instinct—Jhanak seemed honest and mature to her.

Inside the car, Jhanak tells Rishi that Sanjhbati is genuinely kind. Rishi says the city isn’t

entirely heartless—only her experiences with his family must’ve made her feel otherwise. Jhanak disagrees and even justifies the family’s anger. Rishi brings up Aniruddh, implying that she still carries hurt from him. Jhanak firmly states that she neither accepts Aniruddh as her father nor expects him to accept her.

Rishi reminds her that the truth must come out someday. Jhanak softly admits she wants to expose the truth for Nutan’s sake but is certain it won’t affect a powerful man like Aniruddh. Rishi tells her that no amount of money stands above truth and promises to stand with her. She stops him, saying he has already done more than enough, questioning what right he has to keep involving himself. Rishi replies with a quiet ache—their marriage.

Jhanak dismisses the past, but Rishi believes their marriage still holds meaning. He confesses there’s an “issue with his heart,” placing her hand near his chest to feel it. Overwhelmed, Jhanak pulls away, knowing she cannot express her love because he belongs to Aditi. Rishi misreads her silence and assumes she doesn’t love him. Heartbroken, he drops her at the college.

At the campus party, Mishti pretends kindness. She praises Jhanak’s performances and apologizes for everything. Jhanak, though confused by the sudden change, accepts the peace offering. Mishti toasts to “friendship,” handing her a spiked drink with a hidden smirk.

Soon, Jhanak starts feeling light-headed. Mishti lies that they added “energy tablets.” As Jhanak grows unstable, Mishti probes deeper and secretly records everything. Drunk, emotional, and trusting, Jhanak reveals she went with Rishi to drop off Sanjhbati and—most explosive of all—that she loves Rishi the most in the world. Aayush overhears this, shocked and confused. The night ends with Jhanak unknowingly stepping straight into Mishti’s trap.
