The Episode starts with Jhanak stepping off the bus as it reaches the dhaba. She wonders why Rishi is going to such lengths for her and questions whether he expects her to return home. Determined, she resolves never to go back to Kolkata. As passengers are asked to board the Simulboni bus, Jhanak heads toward it, but Rishi intercepts her and takes her bag. He insists she get into the car, promising to take her wherever she wants. Jhanak hesitates and asks about Simulboni and Aditi, to which Rishi confidently replies that he will make his own decisions. They drive off together.
Meanwhile, back home, Aniruddh remarks that Jhanak is an outsider and should be treated accordingly, urging Rishi to understand this. Dadabhai appreciates Rishi’s responsibility toward Jhanak and praises him for not being ungrateful. Aditi counters that Jhanak left willingly and is capable of traveling alone, though Dadabhai reminds her of the repeated insults Jhanak has faced, some of which she knows about. Tanushri advises Aditi to wait for Rishi’s return before reacting, and Dadabhai expresses pride in Rishi’s actions.
Aniruddh focuses on Aditi, questioning why Rishi went alone instead of others helping. Arhimanyu and Tanushri clarify that Rishi only went to ensure Jhanak’s safe travel. Aditi interprets Rishi’s actions as insulting, but she admits her love for him. Aniruddh, emphasizing accountability, tells her she must undergo “tests in love” before granting sympathy to Jhanak, insisting on confirming her as Rishi’s daughter first.
Later, Aditi learns that Rishi went to Simulboni to drop Phool and will stay for Nutan’s Shradh. Arshi remarks that Rishi has changed and now loves Phool, though Aniruddh disapproves. Meanwhile, Jhanak watches Rishi and recalls their moments together, hinting at her growing attachment.
Precap: Parashar informs Jhanak that arrangements have been made for Nutan’s Shradh. Rishi seeks her approval to stay there, and she questions his decision. He explains that he is trying to make amends for his past mistakes. Aditi decides to head to Simulboni as well.
