ReCap: Viren meets with Karthik
Those blissful Ordinary days…..She was living them….with him…It was entirely weird …how the presence of one person…….his love ….would make her complete world a better place to live in…..She could keep him on a half and the rest of the world on other……
Ragini slowly learned Laksh….His taste….His ways….His designs and his colours…..Her life became more vibrant….She felt perfect….. His Mischievous pranks, which he kept well-guarded was a surprise to her…..She was secretly happy that he kept himself to her and his family….If it was to be counted ….Laksh was more a prankster than Sanky….
Believing in her Badi Maa and her Instincts was the best decision …. She lived those happiness and moments fully …Her Family was now complete
Maheswaris gathered for the morning Aarti…Ragini sang Aarti in her melodious voice. ….Viren, Omkara, Sapna, Soumya and Bua went to meet Guddu and Chottu ….So they stayed back there. So it was a quite small Aarti. Ragini offered Prasad to everyone. Ragini offered Prasad to Laksh. He smirked and opened his mouth gesturing to feed him. Ragini panicked sensing presence around them
“Laksh..” She warned him sternly to which Laksh paid zero yield…..”Please take the Prasad….Everyone is here…..Please” Ragini begged him….
Laksh shook his head….Ragini was tensed
“Ragu…..Come here Doll” Sujatha’s voice saved her.
“Coming Maa…” Ragini tucked Prasad in Laksh’s hand and fled to help her Maa for breakfast. She made Laksh’s and Sanky’s favourite paneer paratha for breakfast…less spicy…as Laksh gets hiccups on touching spice…., But sadly he didn’t come for breakfast.
“Sanky …..Where is Laksh..?? Ragini asked her jeth by ten minutes who was stuffing parathas into his mouth…
“He said he don’t want” Sanky said uninterested. ..lunging for more parathas. Ragini slapped his hand…warning him to keep in check of the number of parathas he was gobbling up….
“Ragoo Rani….”Sanky called her with his sad eyes wide open …complaining. ..
“Bas…..this is the sixth one….” Ragini rolled his eyes…
“SO WHAT???? Sanky screamed hungrily. … “You don’t have any right to keep me away from Parathas….”Sanky made imaginary gun with his fingers and shot Ragu….to which played dead…..Meanwhile, he snatched another paratha
“Sanskaaar…” Ragini screamed on learning about his betrayal

He was a bit annoyed…. or slightly upset…. He thought to trap her in the web of his handsome smirks into feeding Prasad….But failed miserably. ….But if not smirks…then an upset and Hungry handsome husband not eating breakfast would definitely work….But he was bit scared….He left innocent and delicious paneer parathas in front of the nasty dragon Sanskaar Maheshwari….He was praying that some of them were spared of him….
Laksh opened his cupboard to get his clothes. He felt a pair of soft arms around his waist and his sweetheart’s head rested on his back. He smiled victoriously to himself…..
“Angry???” Ragu asked calmly. Laksh fixed his expressions to a stoic one
” Why Do you care….?” He removed her arms ” Go check. Whether Maa needs you” He took a random shirt and started to walk away….praying that she stop him.
” Sorry Laksh” Ragini held Laksh by his elbow and turned to him to her…. “Please forgive this stupid wife of yours” She held her ears and made a cute puppy face…and that was the end of Laksh’s acting skills…..he fell right away for it……
” Okay….This time you are excused” Laksh tried to maintain his expression. “But next time Don’t repeat this…..feed me..ok???”
“Why should we wait for next time…..?” Ragini turned to get a plate of Parathas “I won’t let you step out of this house without feeding you”
It was a Hurray moment for Laksh….After all his Ragoo will save his Favourite Parathas for him….
They sat on the bed ….Ragini started to feed Laksh lovingly….and he accepted each bite with love….
“By the Way…..Mr. Maheshwari…..” Ragini said while placing paratha bites in his mouth “This skipping Breakfast and making me worry trick won’t always work …you know…..” Ragini gave a crooked smile….Laksh smiled sheepishly. …After all….She knew all his tricks and pranks….She knew him very well in these two months.
“It will work….Mrs Maheshwari ….Like how your Puppy face works on me…..My tricks will work on you” Laksh tore a piece of paratha and tossed into her mouth.
After their Breakfast….Laksh kissed her goodbye …and left for office. …
Then Ragini had a whole day till six o clock to push….

“How can my surrounding get quiet as soon as these three men leave work” Sujatha said , seated on the sofa in Ragini’s room. Ragini was trying in the Ghungroo , Sanky had gifted her on Birthday.
“I know Maa…..Seriously very quite……”Ragini supported her….
” Ragoo…..Can we go to Orchid this weekend??” Sujatha sprang up.” We dint go there since your birthday.
” I really wanted to go….But Maa…This weekend Laksh won’t be in town …He will go to Mumbai for a meeting….and Sanky has a residential seminar at hospital..” Ragini made up….she was slowly rehearsing mudras without music.
” I miss Jiji and our kids” Sujatha sad in a sad tone….
” Me too Maa ….. But what to do???…” Ragini said…and tapped her feet to hear the jingling of the ghungroo. “Wow….Maa…Isn’t the bell sound thrilling. ..” Ragini tried to divert the topic from going Orchid…. or their plan might flop.
“You are right….the sound is thrilling” Sujatha was amused wish that my Sanky have this power of selection…even when he selects Bahu for me……. ”
” Haan Maa….I really wish that He get a good girl….”Ragini beamed
” Do you anything about his preferences? ?”Sujatha spread her wings of curiosity
“Not Much Maa…”Ragini replied
” Can you or Lucky ask him about it…..He won’t answer me….But he will talk to you…”.
” I will Try Maa “Ragini smiled.
Sujatha and Ragini danced matching tunes….like before…and blend with time
After office timings….and Hospital timing….all five of them gathered for their family timing….with tea and snacks…today it was Papa special ..So Ram Prasad made ginger tea for them….He gave tea to everyone and settled
“Papa…. Maa…. “ Sanky called… “ We want to tell you something”
Sujatha and Ram sharpened their ears. Their curiosity was quite evident on their face
“ WE Three have decided something….” Sanky said in a serious tone. “ Now that you people have grown old…. WE Will have to decide things for you”
“What is it Sanky” Sujatha said in a tensed tone. Lucky took an envelope and placed it on table. Ram picked it up and opened, which had two tickets to Bangkok. Ram and Sujatha looked at their children, confused.
“Arrey… Maaa.. Papa…why are looking at us like that…..”Ragini said with a fancy smile… “ This is your 30th Wedding Anniversary gift from your children.” All three of them smiled widely at their confused parents
“ Haan.. We want You both to spend quality time with each other” Laksh beamed
“ But I wanted to celebrate it with you guys” Sujatha blurted out.
“ Arrey Sujatha….You don’t want to celebrate with me??” Ram made the cutest pout possible
“ Na Ji….. Its not like that Ji….. I wante…..” Sujatha tried to explain to Ram…. But He cut her Words and let out a fake sniff …. “ My Biwi doesn’t want to spend time with me Lucky…” He kept his hand on Lucky’s shoulder. Sanky and Ragini giggled over Ram’s drama. Sujatha got pretty confused with the situation….But decided to give in. She went near Ram and tapped his shoulder. He turned and saw Sujatha holding her ears.
“ I am sorry Ji….. I dint mean to hurt you…. I really love spending time with you…. That too alone…I was just trying to fool these kids into thinking that I want to spend time with them” Sujatha winked at Ram .A Victorious smile spread on Ram’s face. And the kids stood stuck at Sujatha’s sweet betrayal….

Neatly packed and they send their Parents to Bangkok….. Not all Maheswaris was a fan of the idea of ‘Old Age Honeymoon’ of Sujatha and Ram…. But Lucky and Sanky gave a damn…..After waving their parents bye bye , Sanky, Lucky and Ragini took a short Ice cream break. Lucky was attending a business call…which left Ragini and Sanky to stroll around
“Sanky” Ragini called .. “Don’t you want to get married any soon??” Ragini asked
“ I don’t know Ragoo..” Sanky sighed “ I don’t think so I have forgotten her yet” He licked his kulfi
“ Who ?? Kavitha??” Ragini enquired
“ No Re….. I never loved Kavitha… I just decided to marry her for Lucky….I used to love another girl” Sanky said in a sad tone.
“ Uff ho Sanky…. This is not fair….. You always tell me that you had a crush but never explains the rest” Ragoo made a pout Sanky gave out a sheepish smile
“ Sorry Baba…..I will tell you today…… But promise me one thing” Sanky held out his hand . Ragini raised her eyebrow… “ Don’t tell this to Lucky” Sanky pleaded
Ragini was shockingly surprised….Sanky had things which he had to hide from Lucky…. Which raised her curiosity level…So just taped his hand as a promise… But douted the geninuity of her promise
“Her name was Swara….. Swara Gadodia…..” Sanky’s showed off a smile on her utterance “She was Lucky’s Best Friend….” This dialogue dint go well with Ragoo… A thin prick of jealousy covered her… But just smiled… “ Their friendship….was epic…. First … I dint like her…She was loud…crazy…and stupid…..But later I started to observe other qualities in her…. She was caring… Loving and pure at heart….Even though Lucky was a bit introvert…because of Bua ..She gave confidence to him…to shine….I loved her at first for taking care of my brother….. Then… I loved her for being her” Sanky retained his smile…. Ragini was kind of liking Swara…was bit jealous of her…for being in the life of the two men she love the most.
“ But Sanky….Why dint you tell her about your love ,then?? Ragini asked
“ I always showed a rough face to her….. After she became Lucky’s friend ,Uttara was welcoming to her … But I was not….So I was hard on her…. Even when I had feelings for her… I became extra rough on her….Fearing that my feelings would be exposed…….But I regret that……When her family left to Bombay with her… I really missed her…Even though I hardly spoke to her… I missed her presence in this city” Sanky shrugged his shoulder
“ Then why not now????” Ragini was restless
“ Ragoo…. When I missed her like hell….. I went to Lucky to get her contact…. He said that he lost almost all contact with her…. Only tracked her through Watsapp….that too rarely …. I asked him why they stopped contact…. And then he gave me the shock of my life…. He told me that she got married to a strict household…and her husband dint like it” Sanky said sadly….Ragini was shocked … “ Ragooo I know that she is someone’s wife……. But still I am unable to forget her” Sanky sounded helpless. All that Ragini could do was give him a sweet hug and pat his bag

“ Ha Badi Maa….. We sent them off” Laksh told his Badi Maa phone
“ Finally Beta….They are going to spend some quality time…..” Badi Maa gleamed
“ After all it was my Ragoo’s idea” Laksh took no efforts to hide his pride on his Ragoo
“ Badmasssh……” Badi Maa teased him… “ Do you realize Lucky…. That you and Sanky never used to talk to me in friendly terms……. Nowadays You two keep on pestering me on Phone” Badi Maa complained
“ I know Badi Maa…During our earlier days , We thought that You used to be the strict but looking at my Badi maa through Ragoo’s eyes…..is totally refreshing…and the best….” Laksh found it a bit difficult to praise his Badi Maa….. “ If it was not for you…. I must not have not been fortunate enough to get a good girl like Ragoo”
“ Oh come on Lucky…. I am not responsible for that….. It was your mother who chose Ragoo for you…. I wouldn’t have chosen a stoic like you for you for my daughter” Badi Maa teased him
“ Badi Maa…” Lucky called in a complaining tone “Am I that Bad?? . Lucky went to Sanky and Ragoo , while he was on phone. He saw Ragoo was kind of consoling Sanky ….
“ Ok Badi Maa…. Will call you later…. Bye….Take Care Baby” Laksh said and kept the phone. He went near his favourite duo
“ Kya Hua Ragoo?? Why are you consoling him??” Sanky kind of panicked on Lucky’s question
“ What should I tell you Laksh….. Sanky dropped his Kulfi and is sad” Rago said in a pathetic tone. Sanky shot an unbelievable stare at Ragoo
“EEEHH….. Really Sanky” Laksh asked
“ Hmmmm….. Haan Lucky” Sanky said after hesitating…. He stood up…. “ Let me be alone for sometime….. I wat to revive the sweet memories of my Kulfi” Sanky said dramatically and walked off leaving behind a petrified Laksh and equally dramatic Ragooo
After getting over the drama , Laksh and Ragini strolled a bit…. Holding their hands tightly… Laksh pulled Ragini towards him , where she banged onto his chest…while she stood a bit shocked , he pulled his phone
“ Smile Ragooo” He said and pulled a bright smile as demo….which she followed with obedience….They clicked a cute selfie…

After a long day…. All three of them entered the Maheshwari house…… With smile of Satisfaction…..On giving a good time to their Parents…..On giving them smiles…On entering the house…they found out that Viren,Om, Soumya,Sapna and Bua were back ,after visiting Guddu and Chottu…. All of them were present in the Hall with Daadaju ,Daadi Maa , Bade Papas and Badi Maas…. Viren gave a mocking smirk to Laksh….which signed some grave danger for Lakh…But he ignored it….All three of them went and greeted the elder
“ Laksh…. You know what…..” Viren cut off their greetings…..” When we meet Guddu and Chottu…. We met one of your wife’s relative”
Ragini , Sanky and Lucky gave a confused look at Viren….As far as Lucky was concerned Ragini never mentioned about any relatives apart from Badi Maa….and her sisters at orphanage
“Ohh…. Don’t worry…. I have brought him….with me…..” Viren said…….” Arrey Karthik Ji…. Please come” Viren shouted
On hearing his name Laksh felt a quick shudder from Ragini’s body…..who stood near him….She moved closer to Laksh. A man came into the hall….whom Laksh assumed to be Karthik. He had a lean figure….crooked smile on his face and danger in his eyes. Ragini shivered near Laksh…. Her face turned pale…She held Laksh’s hand tightly….as tight as she could….. Laksh and Sanskaar was totally confused ….But decided to stand protective on Ragoo
“ Karthik Ji….. Meet Laksh and Sanskaar My brothers” Viren introduced Lucky and Sanky to Karthik… and then pointed Ragini “ You must be knowing her very well na” Viren mocked and Karthik nodded with a vicious smile
“ Who is this Viren Bhaiyya??” Laksh asked with irritation
“ Ahh……. Karthik Ji…. Why don’t you introduce yourself “ Viren prompted Karthik
“ Hi Mr. Laksh Maheshwari…” He held out his hand….. “ I am Karthik Banerjee…..Ragini’s Husband”…..

One more Thing…..You must have noticed that I follow a certain format of following the POV of a character for an EP…… I have decide slight changes in them…… from now on ,Povs of Raglak will be combined as they are one Now….. I wrote EP :27 and 28 was written with mixed POV of Raglak….if you have noticed
And as for Karthik…. Those of you all who don’t prefer Serial wala Karthik…Then Lets take Karthik as Akshay Dogra……
