Recap : The ceremony of the wedding takes place that is , mehendi, sangeet, haldi and all.
Abhinav meets Riya.
Preesha comes downstairs and sees Rudraksh sitting in the mandap. She smiles worriedly at him. He wonders why is she looking so tensed.
Riya and Rudraksh’s mother ask Preesha where is Riya.
Preesha : U know how long she takes to get ready.
They laugh.
Its been one hour, everyone is waiting the bride to come. Everyone ask preesha to go and see if she is ready yet. Preesha nods and reaches Riya’s room. She opens the door and sees Abhinav and Riya holding hands and crying together. She gets sad seeing them like this and asks whats wrong. Riya runs to her, hugs her and cries.
Riya : Preeshu, I cant marry Rudy. I still love Abhinav. Please u have always done some tricks and supported me. For one last time do something for me.
Preesha : R u mad ? Its not about wanting a toy anymore Riya. Its ur marriage. Be responsible. U cant just defame a groom and his family infront of everyone just like that. U should have thought well before proposing Rudraksh to marry u.
Riya : I know… but u have my kasam (my oath) please let me settle down with Abhinav.
Preesha looks at her teary eyed.
Abhinav comes and folds hand to Preesha and asks her to handle everything here.
She hugs Riya and asks them to go. She will solve things here . They run away.
She turns and gets shocked to see Riya’s mother and her mother. (They both are sisters.)
Riya’s mother : Preesha, Am sorry again.. everytime she messes up something, its you who has to clean her mess. But today u wont do anything.
Preesha : Aunty, I am her sister. When she was born, I felt as if God has given me a sister since I dnt have any siblings. And today if she did something for her happiness then it is me who has to let her live happily. I know she did a mistake but she didnt do a sin afterall. I will talk to Rudraksh and am sure he will understand. He is a mature person.
They both look at her.
Preesha goes to Rudraksh.
Preesha : Rudraksh, I need to talk to u. Its urgent.
They both come to a room.
Rudraksh : Preesha, why r u looking so worried? R u fine?
Preesha looks at him and wonders he is so much concerned about me that he is asking me if am fine or not.
Preesha tells him everything about Riya.
Rudraksh looks on shocked.
Rudraksh : Actually am not angry because I never loved her. I was just marrying her for the sake of my mother and Riya’s happiness. But am upset coz despite being her best frnd, she did not even care to tell me this herself. In fact I would have helped her run away.
Preesha smiles and asks r u serious?
Rudraksh : but I cant cancel the wedding either now.
Preesha : Why? U already know the truth now.
Rudraksh : Because of my mother. She is a heart patient and doctor said that if she gets another heart attack, she may not survive.
Preesha : ohh am so sorry to hear that.. so now how will u tell her this ?
Rudraksh : I cant take the risk to reveal this to her in any way. Now there is only one thing that must be done.
Preesha : And what is that ?
Rudra : I must get married.
Preesha : but with whom?
Rudraksh: With someone who is ready to marry me and then leave me.
Preesha : Wont ur mother get a heart attack then if she sees that her daughter in law is not Riya ?
Rudra : It wont shock her as much as the cancellation of my shaadi.
He kneels down.
Rudra : Will u marry me ?
Preesha is shocked and looks at him.
Preesha : What? But…
Rudra : Dnt wry, its not a lifetime commitment. Just for my mother, I am ready to do anything for her. When she will be gone to Canada to my Dad, we can make an excuse and seperate. U told me u will do anything to make up for what your sister did right.
Preesha thinks about everything that has been happening over the past few days and thinks she will do anything to let her sister live happy.
Preesha : Am ready.
She holds his hand and they look at each other.
Rudraksh holds Preesha’s hands (who is dressed as a bride and her face covered) and they both sit down on the mandap. The rituals start and he puts sindoor in her maang and managalsutra in her neck. Yeh hai chahatein plays in the background. They take pheras and the priest declares them as married. They take blessings of elders. Preesha comes to her mother and hugs her.
Preesha : Mom..
Mom :Preeshu… u..
Preesha : Shhh… Rudraksh understood everything. Just trust me on this okk.
Her mom blesses her and says that she trusts her.
Riya’s mother also comes to know its her and blesses her.
They enter into the car and goes from there.
Preesha uncovers her face and cries. Rudraksh tries to touch her to console her and stops himself.
Rudra : I am not so bad looking that u r crying so much.
Preesha smiles.
Preesha : U r not so good looking afterall.. that is why am crying.
Rudra : Even am adjusting with ur beauty.. so scores equal.
They both laugh.
Rudra (thinks): she looks so pretty while laughing.
They enter their new apartment where Rudra was going to stay with Riya after marriage. Rudra’s mother welcomes them and does their grah pravesh. Before kicking the rice pot, Preesha uncovers her veil and Rudra’s mother looks on surprised.
Sapna : Rudraksh.. this is Preesha.. where is Riya?
Preesha : Aunty, I thought to let u know before entering this house. I cant enter this house as ur bahu without u knowing who is ur bahu. My principles does not allow me to betray u like this. I know it was ur biggest dream to see Rudraksh marrying a girl with whom he will be happy and they both will be staying happily in their lives. But..(she tells him everything that happened before the wedding)
Sapna gets emotional and looks at Rudraksh.
Sapna : Rudy, have u grown so much that u did all this for ur mother?
Rudra cries and hugs Sapna.
Preesha looks on and gets emotional.
Sapna : Preesha, I dnt know what is stored for u and Rudraksh but my gut is saying that u two are made for each other and u will make a very hot couple.
She then laughs. Preesha and Rudraksh looks at each other and feels awkward.
Preesha :Aunty..
Sapna: Not aunty.. Mom.. and Rudra u will also call her mother as mom as from today.
She hugs them both.
Rudraksh and Preesha look at each other, feeling happy that Sapna is happy. He signals her thanks. She smiles at him.
Rudra thinks : she did so much for me, not thinking about herself even once. How will I repay this favour of hers. She saved my mother’s life in other words.
Main tera music plays in the background.
Sapna : u enjoy ur night, am going home haha
Rudra : Maa
Sapna laughs and goes.
They look at each other and smiles awkwardly.
Rudraksh : The room is upstairs. U can choose any room u want. U dnt have any obligation to stay in the same room as me.
Preesha : yeah thanks.
She goes upstairs. Rudraksh looks at her and thinks she is looking so beautiful as a bride.
Preesha enters the room and thinks I chose this room but its the same room as Rudraksh I think. The room is decorated.
She opens the windows and there is heavy wind. She enjoy the wind.
She goes to the washroom and changes into a comfy pyjamas. Rudraksh enters the room and is surprised to see her in the same room as him.
Preesha : dnt stay in any misunderstanding. I did not know it was ur room.
She dries her hair.
Rudraksh : why r u talking so rudely with me all of a sudden.
Preesha : its not rude, its just that we got married suddenly and am still digesting this fact.
Rudraksh : dnt wry we will get divorced soon.
Preesha looks at him : I will be waiting for that eagerly.
Rudraksh looks at her mesmerised by her beauty. She gets into the bed and sleeps. She gets up and realises Rudraksh will also sleep on the bed.
Rudraksh comes out of the bathroom and sees her going to the sofa.
Rudra ; hey no, u sleep on the bed, I’ll sleep on the sofa.
Preesha : I was making arrangements for u on the sofa.
Preesha laughs and sleeps on the bed. Rudraksh comes near her. She gets tensed.
Preesha : What r u doing ?
Rudraksh comes near her on the bed. They have an eyelock. Music plays in the background.
He picks his pillow.
Rudra : u forgot to give me this.
He teases her and sleeps.
She gets angry on him.
The next morning, Rudraksh wakes up and sees Preesha standing. He gets scared and screams.
Preesha : Chillao mat! Main hi houn. (Dnt scream! Its me)
He sees her holding a paper.
Rudraksh : Newspaper so early?
Preesha : shut up! Read it…
Rudraksh reads it and sees its their divorce papers.
Rudraksh : But…
Preesha : u told me yesterday that after marriage we will get divorced… so this is the first step.
Rudraksh looks at the papers and gets angry.
Rudraksh : I have started developing feelings for u and u didnt even bother to see if we can atleast work this out.
Preesha : what is there to work out? U made a deal with me.. it was never a marriage first of all. I have already signed it.
Rudra gets angry and throws the paper. He pins her against the walls. They have an eyelock.
He whispers in her ears : If u didnt felt anything for me, u would have pushed me in the first place..
She realises and pushes him away. She goes angrily. He looks on and smiles.
*Precap : Rudraksh cooks for Preesha. She tells him that there cant be anything between them as she does not love him. He challenges her that she will love him madly one day and hope that it wont be too late then. Later, they are seen dancing in the rain. He asks her permission and holds her waist. He kisses her cheeks.*
