Recap : Preesha is the organiser for Riya and Rudra’s wedding. Rudra is marrying Riya only for the sake of her and his mother’s happiness.
Rudra and Preesha meet and he is stunned by her in the first sight.
The episode starts with Rudra and Preesha shaking hands and looking at one each other. Later, Riya and Rudra exchange rings and everyone claps. Rudra passes by and sees Preesha sitting in a corner. He goes to her.
Rudra : do u social distance with people from childhood?
Preesha : haha nice joke but no.. actually despite being a planner, I dnt quite favour love, marriage and all.
Rudra : Why? I mean its not such a bad idea to marry someone and stay with them.
Preesha : Thats the problem yaar.. look u get married and stay with that person for the rest of ur life. What if u can no longer find urself compatible anymore after years. Then what? Divorce, seperation.. u can never know if that person will stay with u for the rest of ur life. And kids, pls dnt even mention that. Distances come when there are kids. Hey, tum bore to nahi ho rahe naa? (Picked that from om shanti om, my all time fav movie) (hey, I hope u arent getting bored right?
He looks at her.
Rudra : Such a pretty face and such negative thoughts? We dnt have assurance about our own life, when will we dead. But one thing is for sure, if that person loves u enough and is meant for u, by hook or crook he will make things work out for both of u. When in love. People act different u know.
Preesha : U know so well about love I see.
Rudra : I am a singer afterall, I must have such knowledge.
She smiles.
Preesha : But still, am not that marriage type. Like to put henna oh please I never put henna and all.
He calls her different. They look at each other and laugh.
The next day, its the eve of marriage. Mehendi and Sangeet is to be held together. Riya comes to Preesha and looks worried.
Preesha : Tujhe kya hua? (What happened to u?)
Riya : I dont know Preeshu. Am feeling strange. I know tomorrow is my marriage with Rudra and he is my best frnd, I love him, but my ex called, Abhinav. He heard that am getting married, he congratulated me and said he will make sure to come. I still hasnt got over him yet I think.
Preesha : Are u mad? U r getting married to someone so lovable and u r ranting now that u still love ur ex. U only told me it was u who told Rudra that u love him first right and he agreed for ur happiness but he never showed any day that he doesnt love u. U r so lucky that he is such a great guy, who understands so much about love and how to make someone feel special and happy.
Riya : seems like u have gotten to know him well since yesterday. Why dont u marry him urself.
She then laughs.
Preesha : Riyaa! Bad joke.
Riya : Thanks yaar. You’re right. I must not think about my past now.
Preesha helps her get ready for the function.
Its night, everyone is getting mehendi on their hands. Riya asks Preesha to come and get some on her hands but she refuses and goes.
She collides with Rudra.
Preesha : Oh am so sorr… Rudra? Hi, I didnt know u already came.
Rudra : I came early to see my bride.
Preesha looks at him.
Preesha : Oh uhh u mean Riyaa.. yeah she looks gorgeous today.
Rudra says indeed and continues to look at Preesha.
Rudra : Btw I wont come again and again to save u from falling. Handle yourself while walking.
They both laugh and goes different ways.
The sangeet starts and romantic song dil ibaadat kar raha hain plays. All the couple dance together. Preesha’s mother teases her saying when will she get someone to dance with. Preesha shushes her. Everyone get into the dance and dances with several partners. Preesha turns and gets Rudra as her partner. They both dance on Ishq wala love. They have many eyelocks. Dance ends and they realise where they are. They get away from each other and continue to clap.
Preesha walks and thinks.
Preesha : what the heck! Why am I feeling so attracted to him. He is would be husband of Riya and time and again I am pulled towards him. I accept he is handsome and all but no, its not right.
Rudra hears her from a corner and hides so that she doesnt see him.
Rudra : So even she is feeling the same way. But she is right, we both cant betray Riya. She will be hurt and I dnt even know Preesha that well to fall in love with her afterall, our fates are not connected together.
He goes to Riya and smiles at her.
The next morning, its haldi and the wedding is to be held tonight. Preesha comes to Riya and asks her it she isnt ready yet.
Preesha : Riya.. am talking to u.. kahan khoyi hui ho? (Where r u lost?)
Riya : Huhh.. uhh nothing I was just feeling strange that my life is going to change, am going to be a life partner for someone. Its nothing serious.
She smiles hesitantly at Preesha.
Preesha : Riya, I dont know whats wrong but I can tell its not about the wedding. I dnt know if its still about Abhivav but trust me, Rudraksh is much better than that foolish guy who slept peacefully even after knowing u cried all night. Now stop all this drama and come downstairs and get the haldi glow up ur face. Oh shitt! I forgot to pick up haldi from Rudra’s place.
She rushes and goes. Riya laughs and calls her crazy. She gets thinking and looks at her phone.
Preesha rushes in her scooter and arrives at Rudraksh’s place. She greets Sapna and asks for the haldi.
Sapna : Arey Beta! Good u came, come u also put some haldi on the groom.
Preesha picks the haldi and smears some on Rudra’s face.
Preesha : Happy Haldi Rudraksh.
They both smile and have an eyelock. Preesha realises and takes the leftover haldi and goes from there . Rudra looks on.
The haldi of Riya takes place and just when they were about to put Rudraksh’s haldi on her, the bowl was about to fall and Preesha catches it. In the meantime, she gets some of the haldi in the bowl smeared on her face (means she put the haldi of Rudra). They thank her for saving the bowl and continues the ceremony. Preesha looks at the mirror and realizes she got haldi on her face. She cleans it up and thinks haldi is so boring yaar.
Soon its night, its the wedding of Riya and Rudraksh. Preesha gets ready and goes to help Riya get ready. She sees Abhinav at the door and asks him.
Preesha : What r u doing here ?
Riya : preeshu.. I called him.
Riya : But Why? U know what he did…
Riya : calm down Preeshu, I know, I just want to talk to him please?
Preesha looks at Abhinav.
Abhinav : I know u r angry with me Preesha. But I am regretting what I did to Riya. Trust me.
Preesha goes from there.
Riya looks at Abhinav.
Preesha comes downstairs and sees Rudraksh sitting in the mandap already. He smiles at her.
Precap : Riya cries and tells Preesha that she will not be able to marry Rudraksh. She stills loves Abhinav. Preesha is shocked and looks at her. Rudraksh and Preesha are seen fighting with each other.
