Jannat fame Sonal Chauhan reveals her fitness secret

Jannat fame Sonal Chauhan believes in not just physical fitness but also mental fitness. The actress discovered yoga during the last two pandemic years and feels that yoga has not only helped her physically but also keep fit mentally.

Sonal talked about it during a recent interview with BT and shared, “I do have a basic gym workout and follow it every day but my body loves yoga and it works best for my body. I have learned more about it since lockdown and when I had to stay at home and could not step outdoors or go to the gym. People in our country don’t give much importance to mental fitness. Yoga helps me mentally and refreshes me from within. It changes my mood completely and I start feeling better about everything in my life.”

Sonal added, “Besides yoga, I also like to go for a long run, dance, and be physically active. It is important to keep moving whether you are at home or at your workplace. Movement enhances your metabolism and it helps me keep active.”

On the professional front, Sonal is all set to be featured in Akkineni Nagarjuna’s The Ghost. The actress is paired with the senior star Nagarjuna in the film. For the unversed, Sonal has been part of several Hindi and Telugu films including Paltan, 3G, Jannat, and Buddhah…Hoga Tera Baap.

The actress said, “A good role is important and how it translates on screen also matters because even if you work hard, sometimes, a role fails to connect with masses. So even if you look good or put in your best, sometimes, it does not work with masses.”
