Actress Nia Sharma in a recent interview opened up about how she was out of work for 9 months after Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai went off air. She revealed how it got difficult for her to live alone as she has no friends and was also not earning. Nia essayed the role of Manvi Chaudhary in the show. She was out of work for 9 months before she bagged Jamai Raja.
In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Nia also mentioned that Instagram wasn’t a source of income for actors back then. She also added that though she does not have any concrete project right now she does earn well from music videos and collaborations.
Nia recalls how she was alone in Mumbai during the gap of 9 months between the two shows. The actress didn’t give up and continued to work on herself, She learned belly dancing during that time and made a promise to herself not to relive this time ever again.
The actress recently made a grand appearance in Bigg Boss OTT and managed to create quite a buzz inside the house during her short stay of one day.
