Sumati reflects on recent events, feeling betrayed. Shashank’s mother urges her to stay calm, praising Riddhi’s beauty and education. However, Sumati angrily declares she wants to punish Neel. When Neel arrives, he offers himself for punishment but pleads for forgiveness. Sumati, deeply hurt, tells him his actions feel like a personal betrayal and questions how he could hide such a significant matter from her. Acknowledging his mistake, Neel begins doing sit-ups, vowing not to stop until she forgives him. Sumati laments that he has taken away her biggest dream — choosing a bride for her son. She twists his ear, questioning why he couldn’t find another girl, knowing how cruel Kanchan and Riddhi are.
Parameshwari confronts Kanchan for hurting Neel. Kanchan insists it was an accident, but Parameshwari accuses her of doing it deliberately to sabotage the marriage. She demands to know why Kanchan can’t stand Riddhi’s happiness. Kanchan denies any ill intent, claiming Parameshwari hates her daughter, while she herself does not. Parameshwari vows not to let Kanchan ruin Riddhi’s life. When Riddhi defends Kanchan, Parameshwari asserts that Kanchan will go to any lengths to stop the wedding. Riddhi rejects this claim, insisting she is happy with the marriage. Kanchan, seeing Riddhi’s conviction, reluctantly agrees.
Sumati then questions Neel about his true feelings. Neel embraces her, assuring her that he is marrying for the happiness of both himself and their family. Though she forgives him, Sumati remains upset. Gangadhar arrives, and Neel apologizes to him. Gangadhar, supportive of the union, retrieves Sumati’s jewelry from the bank and offers it for Neel to use as a house deposit. Neel refuses, and Sumati insists they cannot bring Riddhi to Shashank’s house. She warns Neel against taking financial help from Kanchan or Riddhi, while Neel struggles with revealing the condition of becoming a ghar jamai (live-in son-in-law).
Vicky asks Kanchan about their next move, and she confidently declares that Neel will never reach the wedding mandap. The following day, Neel anxiously asks Shashank about his parents’ whereabouts, only to learn they have gone to Riddhi’s house to deliver her wedding outfit. Panicked, Neel rushes off on his bike, only to be stopped by a traffic officer for not wearing a helmet.
At Riddhi’s house, Neel’s family arrives, and Simran welcomes them. However, Kanchan coldly remarks that uninvited guests are not welcome, angering Sumati. Parameshwari tries to calm her as Sumati presents the wedding outfit for Riddhi. Parameshwari admires its beauty, but Kanchan whispers something to Vicky, who then disappears inside. Just then, a maid reaches out for the saree, complimenting it. Sumati firmly states that it is meant for Riddhi, but Parameshwari dismisses the maid. Kanchan, with a smirk, declares that Riddhi will never even touch the saree.
