Neel tells Kanchan that she can do whatever she wants, and he will endure it. Kanchan challenges this, claiming he won’t tolerate her actions, and injures his foot with her ring. Neel refrains from reacting, worried that Sumati might stop the wedding if he does. Riddhi notices the blood and shouts Neel’s name, startling Kanchan. Alarmed, Kanchan moves aside, and Riddhi rushes to Neel, tending to his wound by applying haldi. Kamlesh questions Vicky about how and when the injury occurred.
Riddhi asks Neel for an explanation, while Sumati also inquires about the incident. Neel reassures his mother, calling it a minor injury. However, Sumati spots Kanchan’s ring and concludes that it caused Neel’s wound. When she accuses Kanchan, Neel defends her, saying Sumati misunderstood. Riddhi
Gangadhar supports the idea of it being accidental and jokingly comments on Riddhi applying haldi to Neel. Embarrassed, Riddhi steps back, but Neel explains that Riddhi had promised to apply haldi to him first, which she did. He then tells Kanchan that Riddhi’s actions reflect her deep love for him and thanks Kanchan, saying this incident made him realize Riddhi’s feelings. Riddhi is shocked by his statement. Parameshwari decides to continue the haldi ritual, applying haldi to Riddhi and Neel first, followed by Kanchan and the others.
Meanwhile, Pratham spots Manjari and recalls a past interaction with her. The family members take turns applying haldi to Riddhi and Neel, and Parameshwari instructs them to apply haldi to each other. Neel gently applies haldi to Riddhi, who does the same for him, prompting applause from everyone. Kanchan, however, is visibly irritated. Parameshwari then advises Riddhi and Neel to freshen up, while Simran mentions that she has already arranged everything in Riddhi’s room. The two head inside, while Manjari excuses herself to wash her hands. Parameshwari directs her to her room.
Inside, Neel teases Riddhi, asking if she has fallen for him. Riddhi firmly denies it, stating she only acted according to their contract and that love has no place in her life. She reminds him that their arrangement is temporary, lasting just six months.
Elsewhere, Pratham follows Manjari, hiding his face with a cloth to scare her. He smears haldi on her neck before disappearing. Alarmed, Manjari demands to know who it was. When he reappears, he compliments her appearance, but she warns him to stay in line and leaves.
Parameshwari expresses satisfaction with the day’s rituals and mentions the upcoming wedding. Riddhi, however, pulls Neel aside and reminds him of the pain their mothers have already endured. She insists that he inform his parents about the ghar jamai arrangement before the wedding.
Precap: Gangadhar offers Sumati’s jewellery to Neel to sell them and arrange a deposit money. Kanchan plans to eradicate Neel before wedding.
