Shashank confesses to Neel that he lied to Gangadhar about booking a hotel for them. He questions why Neel didn’t want his parents to know the truth. Neel explains that his parents are already angry at him and wouldn’t accept his financial help. He thanks Shashank and disconnects the call.
Meanwhile, Kanchan recalls Neel saying he read the letter and wonders if he told Riddhi about it. Observing Riddhi eating normally, she assumes he didn’t reveal anything. Simran informs Riddhi that Neel called, but Kanchan urges her to finish eating first. Riddhi insists she is done and goes to meet Neel, asking what he wants to tell her. Neel refuses to share it with Kanchan, but she claims to know what he is hiding and grabs his collar.
As this confrontation unfolds, Riddhi and Parameswari arrive. Riddhi demands to know what’s going on, and Neel accuses Kanchan of stopping him from speaking. Riddhi insists he tell her immediately. Neel then shows marks on his chest and claims Riddhi is responsible for them. Parameswari smirks, while Kamlesh remarks that it looks like more than a love bite. Parameswari declares that Riddhi has proven herself as her granddaughter.
Riddhi, confused, denies any involvement. Neel insists that only she could have done it. Kanchan intervenes, saying that if Riddhi isn’t responsible, then Neel is cheating on her. Neel, determined to protect his reputation, pressures Riddhi to take responsibility. Eventually, she gives in and accepts the blame. Parameswari instructs everyone to leave the couple alone.
Once alone, Riddhi questions Neel about what really happened. He teasingly asks if she’s jealous. She reminds him that such things are impossible for six months. Neel then confesses he created the marks using a bottle to make everyone believe they are in love. Amused, Riddhi smiles for the first time. Neel points it out, and she warns him against pulling such stunts before leaving for work.
Later, Kanchan confronts Neel, accusing him of playing mind games. Neel admits she is right. Kanchan then reveals shocking details about Pramod, showing him a pair of earrings that Pramod had snatched from Riddhi during her childhood. She explains that Pramod sent the earrings to remind Riddhi of her painful past. Overcome with emotion, Kanchan expresses her desire to shield Riddhi from suffering.
Neel is stunned by the revelation. Kanchan describes Pramod as a monster who abandoned them, leaving Riddhi with traumatic memories that still trigger panic attacks. She insists that Riddhi must never learn the truth. Seeing her distress, Neel offers her water and reassures her that he understands her pain. He then promises never to trouble her again.
