Riddhi is shocked to see Kanchan’s condition and asks what happened. Neel insists he did nothing, while Kanchan claims she slipped and was hurt by the glass. Neel realizes Kanchan injured herself to prevent Riddhi from opening the gift and wonders what’s inside the box.
Meanwhile, Gangadhar informs Sumati that Neel has married Riddhi and become a ghar jamai. He believes Neel won’t return and has abandoned them. Sumati recalls Kanchan and Neel’s words and tearfully acknowledges that Neel went against her wishes. Gangadhar consoles her, reminding her that she still has them and shouldn’t punish herself over Neel’s actions. He then announces they will visit the ancestral goddess temple.
The doctor treats Kanchan and suggests she was hit by a bottle, but Kanchan denies it. After he leaves, Riddhi remembers how Kanchan had humiliated Neel in front of the guests and assumes Neel hurt her in retaliation. Overcome with anger, she strangles Neel, accusing him of harming Kanchan. Neel protests his innocence, but Riddhi insists he was the only one present.
Parameswari intervenes, questioning Riddhi’s sanity. Kamlesh argues that Kanchan wouldn’t hurt herself. However, Kanchan assures Riddhi that Neel is innocent and even swears on her. Noticing bruises on Neel’s neck, Riddhi calms down, and Kanchan asks her to relax. Riddhi hugs Kanchan, who reassures her that despite their differences, Neel would never do such a thing. Parameswari scolds Riddhi before everyone disperses, leaving only Kanchan and Neel.
Kanchan taunts Neel, saying Riddhi has proven where he stands and that her love for Kanchan surpasses everything. Neel counters that Kanchan’s victory came at the cost of her own motherhood. He accuses her of playing with Riddhi’s emotions and vows to uncover the truth about the mysterious gift. Kanchan warns him to stay out of it, but Neel is determined to find out.
Parameswari tells Riddhi she cannot be blind in her love for Kanchan. Riddhi apologizes, but Parameswari insists she must make amends. She demands that Riddhi kiss Neel in front of everyone. Kanchan tries to stop her, but Neel supports the idea, asserting his self-respect as the son-in-law. Riddhi reluctantly kisses Neel on the cheek.
Later, Riddhi finally opens the gift, finding only a normal bottle of perfume. She dismisses it as unimportant and leaves. Meanwhile, Kamlesh secretly acknowledges she had switched the gift on Kanchan’s orders. Kanchan smugly tells Neel that the gift is no longer in Riddhi’s room. Neel deduces that Kamlesh must have helped Kanchan and soon spots her carrying a gift box.
Precap: Kanchan snatches a letter from Neel and tears it off. Neel reveals that he had read the letter before she arrived. He then informs Riddhi about her connection with the letter.
