Neel surprises Kanchan with his behavior, while Riddhi reassures her that he comes from a respectable family, with Gangadhar being a well-known priest. However, Kanchan remains displeased, as Neel failed to meet her expectations. Neel defends himself, saying he styled the saree in a trendy way, and Riddhi agrees. Kanchan’s friends praise the unique Muh Dikhai ceremony and invite Neel and Riddhi to their home before leaving.
Meanwhile, Gangadhar and Manjari search for Sumati, who has gone missing. Gangadhar finds a courier and insists Sumati must not see Neel. As they leave to find her, Sumati tries calling Neel, but he doesn’t answer. Gangadhar then tells her that Neel has abandoned them and that she is merely hallucinating his presence.
Back at the house, Kamlesh and Vicky open gifts when Kanchan intervenes, alarmed upon seeing a gift from Pramod. Neel arrives and questions why gifts are being opened without him. When he notices the label “Riddhi Betu” on Pramod’s gift, he recalls seeing the same name on a letter. Determined to uncover the truth, he attempts to open the gift, but Kanchan snatches it away. Suspecting her motives, Neel insists on giving it to Riddhi, leading to a struggle. As he rushes away with the gift, he believes he sees Sumati from the balcony but dismisses it as a hallucination.
Later, Neel urges Riddhi to open the gift, but she hesitates, claiming she is busy. He insists and refuses to leave until she does. Kanchan, desperate to prevent Riddhi from seeing it, injures herself with glass and screams, shocking Neel. Riddhi rushes outside and sees Kanchan in distress.
