Neel informs the police inspector that Kanchan is responsible for burning down his house. The inspector questions why Kanchan would do such a thing. Neel explains that he works for Kanchan and that she had threatened to ruin him and leave him homeless. The inspector then asks Neel for proof. Neel presents Kanchan’s bracelet, claiming he found it outside his burnt house. The inspector confronts Kanchan with the bracelet, stating that Neel brought it as evidence. Kanchan feigns surprise and asks Neel how he got her bracelet. Neel accuses her directly, saying she dropped it outside his house after setting it on fire. Kanchan denies the allegation and questions his accusations.
Neel challenges Kanchan’s presence near his house while her mother is hospitalized. Kanchan claims she was there to pray for her mother and that she lost her bracelet. Neel insists she’s lying. Kanchan pretends to sympathize with Neel, offering him and his family a place to stay in her house. She then whispers to Neel, taunting him that she has indeed left him homeless. Furious, Neel yells at her.
Kanchan uses Neel’s reaction to portray him in a bad light, telling the inspector that people like Neel have no respect for the police. The inspector orders Neel to be arrested. Neel is thrown behind bars and beaten by the constables while Kanchan watches with a smirk. She recalls how Sumati had insulted her and enjoys seeing Neel suffer. However, Kanchan pretends to show mercy, stopping the police from hurting him further. She tells the inspector that a house is important to everyone and that she doesn’t want to add to Neel’s troubles. She withdraws her complaint, and Neel is released.
Outside the police station, Neel confronts Kanchan, asserting that he was right about her. Kanchan admits her role in the incident, stating she deliberately dropped her bracelet to let him know she was behind it. She calls it punishment for Sumati slapping her and warns Neel to never cross her again. She threatens to harm his family if he challenges her. Handing him the bracelet, she mocks him, suggesting he sell it to buy a new house, and then leaves.
Neel returns to Shashank’s house. When Gangadhar asks about his injuries, Neel lies, saying he got hurt while trying to enter the house. Sumati assures Neel that nothing matters more to her than his well-being. Neel promises to rebuild their home and heads out, saying he’s going to meet a friend.
At the hospital, Lokit asks Riddhi about the doctor’s update. Riddhi reveals Parameshwari’s last wish and pleads with Lokit to marry her. Lokit cruelly demands she rub her nose on his shoes if she wants him to agree. As Riddhi prepares to comply, Neel arrives and stops her, angrily scolding Lokit for his behavior.
Precap: Neel agrees to marry Riddhi as per Parameshwari’s request. Parameshwari asks him to marry in a temple right away without letting Kanchan know about it.
