The episode starts with Sudama and Vrinda coming take Surbhi and Vats/Vatsasur calf for grazing. Yashoda offers them cows. Krishna asks Balram to stop them. Balam walks out and says he will also bear punishment with his friends as he is their mukhiya and will accompany them for grazing cows. Friends rejoice. Vrinda hugs Balram and praises him. Balram is amazed with her change in behavior. Kanha informs Balram that calf Vats is actually monster Vatsasur who wants to ruin Vrindavan cows, so they should stop him.
Kanha takes Balram to rishi Vashist’s ashram and introduces him to Vashist muni, his wife, and cow Nandini whom he considers as Kamadhenu as she never stops giving milk. Balram asks where is Vatsasur. Krishna shows an emerging monster Pramil who comes to get Nandini.
Pramil takes Nandini with him and turns back to his usual asur avatar. Nandini curses him to become a cow Vats forever. Pramil turns into a calf and apologizing pleads to reveal how to get rid off this curse. She demands to send her back to Vashist muni and says Narayan’s avatar will free him from his curse. Vats says he cannot wait for so long and will take revenge killing all cows. Kanha informs Balram that Vats will be free from his curse only if he sacrifices his evilness. They both return home.
After sometime, Kanha asks Balram to take him out to graze cows. Balram seeks permission from Yashoda to take Kanha along to graze cows. She denies permission. He goes alone. Vatsasur thinks where is this boy’s younger brother, its good he didn’t come or else he would be crushed under his feet. Sudama and Vrinda stops Vats from going away from them. Vats fumes that he can kill cows only if they let him go. Kids think without mother, Vats cannot have milk. Vats thinks he knows where to get milk from and fumes on Balram.

Krishna sits on it. Vatsasur decides to kill Gokul cows.
