Mahishi puts Turmeric paste on Rambh’s wounds. He sees Ma Durga’s idol, asks her is she Ma Durga’s devotee? Mahishi tells him about her boon from Ma Durga. Rambh tells her she is lucky to be blessed for Moksh. But he is not so fortunate.. He is Danav mata Danu’s son. With his & brother he was doing Agnidev’s penanace to get a powerful son. But Indra killed my brother Karambh by cheating.

At Swarga Brihaspati asks Indra is he going to question Ma Durga? He said yes, he wants to know why is she giving boon to Asuras. Brihaspati tells him whatever Ma durga is doing, always has some deep meaning to it. Even Agnidev trys to convince him. But Indra is insecure, asks other Devas to come with him but they refuse. Indra leaves alone.

Rambh continues,

he was going to end his life but Agnidev appeared he told me to go in South direction, the first woman he’ll meet, will get a son from her. She asks him, did he find that woman? He looks at her.

Mahishi asks Rambh again, has he found that woman? Mahish comes, threatens Mahishi. She tells Rambh, he is creating problems for me. Rambh tells Mahish to move out of his way bur Rambh fights with Mahish, who hits Rambh & wants to kill Mahishi. Rambh fights with him & Mahish runs away threatening to return back. Rambh gets Mahishi back to consciousness. Assures her Mahish will not come back.
Indra is in Mata’s Dham, calls her, says mata protects her sons but you are taking Danav’s side, are creating obsatacles on my path . Ma Durga denies saying this is your doubt, mata can not be Kumata. It doesn’t suit your Devatva to assume future results & act in this manner. He asks you’ve inspired Agnidev to give boon to Rambh, his son will be a risk in future. It doesn’t Indra justifys saying he was an Asura. Mata says you’ve killed a bhakta who was doing penance. That is his God’s insult. I’ve asked Agnidev to give boon to a bhakta not an Asura. He had to get result of his penanace. It’s my duty to retain this system. Do you still have any doubt? He says yes, if any doubt is still left, he is capable of finding answer.

Precap: One of the Matrikas asks Ma Durga, this is the first incident, someone returned without offering pranam to you. What is the reason? Ma Durga says he is scared, his insecurity is responsible for this attitude. Then you should make him understand says Matrikadevi. Ma Durga answers it’s better to leave him, he’ll understand later.
