The episode starts with Kalikant announcing to everyone that both his sons are about to embark on a new journey in life. As he notices the ring on Suraj’s hand, he wonders how Suraj ended up with the ring he had prepared for Jagriti. Meanwhile, Sapna slides the ring onto her finger, thanking Suraj and praising its beauty. Kalikant then instructs Akash to put the ring on Jagriti’s finger, and Akash complies. The guests admire Sapna’s ring as she places it on Suraj’s finger, while Jagriti does the same for Akash. Kalikant blesses both his sons.
Bhairav steps aside, staring at Malati’s photo, his mind consumed by memories. He recalls how Kalikant had killed Malati when she tried to help the Chitta people. A flashback reveals Malati presenting evidence to the police, exposing Kalikant’s exploitation of the Chitta people for his illicit activities and using them as scapegoats. Just as she demands legal action against Kalikant Thakur, he arrives and forcibly takes her away. In a ruthless act, Kalikant shoots Malati, leaving her to die before disappearing.
Bhairav regrets that if he had arrived a few minutes earlier, he could have saved Malati. In another flashback, Malati regains consciousness just long enough to reveal that Kalikant shot her for aiding the Chitta people. Bhairav swears vengeance, but for two years, his attempts to seek justice through the law prove futile as everyone sides with Kalikant. Then, fate gives him an opportunity—Jagriti.
While traveling, Bhairav discovers an unconscious Jagriti on the roadside. Locals inform him that she was found drifting in the water. After taking her to the hospital, he learns that Jagriti is a Chitta, and her parents were killed by Kalikant. Determined to turn her into Jagriti Bahl, Bhairav vows that she will one day seek justice, not just for herself but for all the Chitta people.
Back in the present, Kalikant informs his family that Bhairav has set some conditions for the wedding. The first is that there will be no fire in the havan, as Jagriti fears flames. The second is that Jagriti will not enter the kitchen after marriage. The third is that neither Jagriti nor anyone else will wear a red saree, as it terrifies her. Initially, Sapna opposes the conditions but eventually relents at Kalikant’s insistence. Kalikant then instructs Suraj to take the shagun to Jagriti’s house the next day, and Suraj agrees.
Meanwhile, Rohan and Jagriti reminisce over old photographs. Jagriti notices that there are no pictures of her from before she was nine years old, leaving her puzzled. Elsewhere, Bhairav examines an old childhood photo of Jagriti, deciding to show it to Kalikant to reveal her true identity as a Chitta. Just then, a knock on the door distracts him, and the photo slips out of the window.
The next day, Suraj arrives at Jagriti’s house with the shagun. Surprised, Jagriti questions his presence. Suraj explains that he has come to deliver the shagun and also to apologize for his previous behavior. Later, Jagriti admires her ring and praises Akash’s taste, but Suraj reveals a shocking truth—he had originally chosen that ring for Sapna. Jagriti, confused, asks why Akash gave it to her. Suraj explains that Sapna swapped the ring because she preferred the solitaire diamond. Suman playfully warns them to be careful, joking that if Sapna can swap the ring, she might even swap the brides, leading to an unexpected marriage between Jagriti and Suraj. Laughing, Jagriti and Suraj dismiss the idea, insisting that such a mix-up would never happen.
