Kalikant confronts Suraj for bringing Ghungroo’s ashes to the haveli, unaware that Suraj now knows the truth of his crime. Jagriti declares that Suraj will not part with the ashes until justice is served. When Kalikant tries to deflect, Kalindi intervenes. Ganga comforts Suraj, while Sapna expresses sympathy. Suraj isolates himself in his room, overcome with grief and guilt, remembering Ghungroo. Jagriti and Ganga try to care for him, but Suraj, in anguish, tries to inflict pain on himself to feel Ghungroo’s suffering. Jagriti stops him just in time, urging him to stay strong for Ghungroo.
Suraj breaks down, ashamed for ever believing in Kalikant. Jagriti consoles him and encourages him to fight for justice. Meanwhile, Kalindi advises Kalikant to present a fake killer to regain control of the family. Kalikant agrees to her manipulative plan. Ganga brings the children to lift Suraj’s spirits, and Jagriti tells them Ghungroo is now a star like her late parents.
Soon, Kalikant brings a man claiming to be Ghungroo’s killer and asks Suraj to kill him. The man confesses, but Suraj, overwhelmed, drops the gun and walks away. Akash tells Kalikant that Suraj is traumatized. Later, Suraj quietly celebrates Ghungroo’s birthday with Akash, admitting his deep regret for trusting Kalikant. He now understands Akash’s hatred for Kalikant and vows to take action.
Suraj confronts Kalikant that night, demanding the truth about Ghungroo’s death. Kalikant refuses, but Suraj insists he swear on him. Kalikant lies under oath, shocking Suraj, who realizes his father never truly loved him. Determined, Suraj goes to the police the next day and files an FIR, naming Kalikant as Ghungroo’s murderer. The inspector, pressured by Kalikant, tries to intimidate Suraj and arrests him for tearing the original report. Suraj, unshaken, surrenders his phone and accepts the arrest.
Jagriti grows concerned after Kalikant threatens Suraj and sets out with Akash to find him. Meanwhile, Sapna confides in Akash, struggling with trauma from the tragedy, and urges him to focus on finding Suraj.
Eventually, Kalikant visits Suraj in lockup, bringing Ghungroo’s ashes to mock him. Suraj demands to know why he killed Ghungroo, but Kalikant taunts him instead, asking him to come home and maintain appearances. Suraj silently takes the ashes, burdened by grief but fueled by a growing resolve.
