Jagriti tells Suraj that she has never been here before but knew about the temple’s existence, finding it strange. As she plays with a bird that lands on her shoulder, Kalikant instructs his henchman to record the scene. Meanwhile, Suraj worries about Jagriti recalling her past and urges her to leave. Suddenly, a jaguar appears, and Kalikant watches through a phone, eager to determine if Jagriti is a Chitta. If she is, she will send the jaguar away; if not, she will panic.
Suraj steps in front of Jagriti to protect her, but she instructs him to stay still and hold his breath, believing the jaguar will think they are dead and leave. The plan works when a rabbit distracts the jaguar, making it run away. Impressed, Suraj asks Jagriti how she knew this, and she responds that she read it in a book. Kalikant, realizing her knowledge is learned rather than inherited, concludes she is not a Chitta.
Later, Suraj and Jagriti encounter the same rabbit. Suraj shoos it away, but Jagriti reminds him that the rabbit saved them. The next day, Kalikant’s henchmen arrive to escort them out of the jungle.
Back home, Kalindi questions Kalikant about sending Suraj to the jungle despite being happy about his return. Kalikant reveals that it was a test to determine if Jagriti was a Chitta. Relieved by the results, he declares his satisfaction. Ganga, on the other hand, is simply grateful that Suraj and Jagriti are safe. When Kalikant asks Jagriti if she has learned a daughter-in-law’s place in the Thakur household, she pretends to comply but secretly vows to teach him a lesson once she becomes an IPS officer.
Bhairav visits Kalikant’s home and invites his family to Rohan and Suman’s wedding anniversary. Kalikant initially declines, citing another engagement, but Bhairav insists. In a fleeting daydream, Bhairav envisions himself telling Kalikant that he will kill Suraj at the party. Snapping back to reality, he convinces Kalikant to attend briefly.
At the celebration, Bhairav greets Suraj and Kalikant, while Jagriti meets Suman. Suman introduces her friend, a tarot card reader, and encourages Jagriti to try a reading. The tarot reader predicts that a life-altering truth will soon be revealed to her. This unsettles Suraj, who quickly takes Jagriti away, making an excuse about needing perfume. Jagriti playfully comments on him before agreeing to help.
