The episode starts with Jagriti informing everyone how she rescued the Chitta girls and entrusts their security to Kalikant, who orders the police to arrest the goons. The media praises Jagriti for her bravery, but she credits Kalikant, also revealing his encouragement for her to become an IPS officer. Kalikant initially dismisses her claim but later publicly acknowledges her determination, earning her applause from the audience.
Returning to Kalikant’s mansion, Jagriti hopes he won’t stop her from pursuing her IPS dreams, but Kalindi warns her to be prepared for his reaction. In his office, Kalikant punishes Suraj and Akash, suspecting one of them is encouraging Jagriti’s defiance. Jagriti pleads for them, ultimately agreeing to abandon her IPS aspirations to stop the punishment.
Suraj later confronts Jagriti, blaming her for Kalikant’s wrath. Jagriti defends herself, explaining she only wanted to save the Chitta girls and suspects Kalikant’s involvement. When Suraj presses for her source, she fabricates a story to protect Akash’s plan against Kalikant.
Meanwhile, a Chitta rebel sabotages Suraj’s jeep brakes under Bhairav’s orders, seeking revenge for Malati’s death. The next day, Jagriti, frustrated with constant questioning, refuses to explain herself anymore.
As Suraj drives, he realizes his brakes have failed and informs Gungroo, who alerts Jagriti. She advises him to press the clutch and shift to neutral, but when Suraj says even the clutch isn’t working, Jagriti suspects foul play.
