Alex informs Kalindi of his vegetarian preferences, prompting her to offer to prepare a suitable meal. Jagriti notes that food is already prepared and serves Indian dishes, explaining their preparation. Alex and Jack enjoy the meal and commend Jagriti. Alex instructs Kalikant to deliver ₹25 crores to his warehouse. Suraj protests the unfairness of both paying compensation and managing delivery, but Alex insists it’s necessary due to SP Kalpana’s checkpoints.
Jagriti proposes delivering the money to the Kuldevi temple, outside SP Kalpana’s jurisdiction, to ease transportation. She sets a condition: they will keep ₹10 crores for taking the risk, delivering only ₹15 crores. Alex agrees and departs. Kalikant instructs Kalindi to arrange a visit to the Kuldevi temple, and she complies. Kalindi informs Ganga about the pooja at the Kuldevi temple and requests necessary arrangements. Jagriti later questions Ganga about the numerous baskets ordered by Suraj, who explains they are for the temple pooja.
Suraj brings the baskets into Kalikant’s study and discusses his plan with Akash and Kalikant. Jagriti secretly listens by turning off the lights, but Suraj investigates the fuse. Kalikant and Akash calculate that each basket can hold ₹1 crore, requiring 15 baskets for ₹15 crores. When the lights return, Suraj catches Jagriti, who claims she has good news: Alex has reduced the compensation. She explains that her conversation with Alex about Indian tax systems led to this reduction. Kalikant appreciates the outcome but warns Jagriti not to interfere in his business decisions.
The next day, Suraj and Jagriti pray at the temple. Suraj vows to protect the deal, showing his gun, to which Jagriti responds by displaying rice grains, implying a different strategy. Ganga struggles with her bangle, and Jagriti asks Suraj to assist, which he does, earning Ganga’s blessing. Suraj tells Jagriti that with his mother’s blessings, she won’t be able to ruin the deal. Jagriti gives a sharp reply. Suraj secretly adds weights to Jagriti’s basket to burden her during the journey.
Jagriti notices the heaviness and suggests that Kalindi, as the family head, should carry the largest basket. Kalindi agrees and takes the heavy basket. Jagriti then tells Suraj that she has invited friends to disrupt the deal and departs. As Suraj and the women pass a checkpoint, the police insist on inspecting the baskets. Suraj, having prepared a clean basket, allows the inspection, which reveals nothing suspicious, and they are permitted to proceed. Suraj taunts Jagriti about her “friends” failing to disrupt the plan and leaves. Jagriti, holding rice grains, reflects that her real allies will act soon.
