Anjali’s bidaai was done and Sanjana was very sad on losing the love of her life but that love made her weak and she sacrificed. She was crying a lot, she stood up by difficulty and went to washroom to wash her face and also that she had to dress like Anjali for everyone. She vomited blood and had a pain in her stomach, she was so helpless that she couldn’t even help herself. She got dressed as Anjali and came out and started breaking things and sat on the floor hugging her knees. ‘I m sorry Sanjay. Very sorry.’

Few Months Later:
Sanjana’s condition had worsened now. She had told everyone about it but none knew her identity. Anjali had called on her phone to talk to her. ‘Hallo Sanju, how’s you?’ Anjali asked. ‘Fine and you. I want God to call me as soon as possible.’
‘I m fine and don’t you dare to say this Sanjana, I will kill you idiot, I had called to tell you that you’re going to be an aunt(maasi) soon,’ Anjali said and Sanjana smiled. ‘Wow, my last wish is to meet my little kiddo,’ Sanjana said laughingly. Someone knocked on the already open door of Anjali’s new room. She turned back in a shock. ‘Talk to you later Anjali,’ she said and cut the call. It was Arya on the door. ‘Arya you?’ she asked. ‘Why? Wasn’t expecting me Anjali? Finally you got your one sided love,’ he said sarcastically.
‘Arya please hear me out for once, please,’ she pleaded. ‘No I don’t want to, you go enjoy your new life and your pregnancy, but remember only my love is true for you, you said you needed some time and you thought this? Wow, salute, when Sanjay will get to know, he will be the first one to leave your hand and go, at that time you’ll remember my love for you, you’ll get nothing by this marriage, you’re ruined, why you did this to me? What did I ruin of yours? I hate you Anjali,’ he said and started leaving.
‘No Arya please listen to me,’ she said and suddenly fell from the stairs. ‘Aahh Arya!’ she called out and seeing her in pain, he went to her and lifted her in his arms. He rushed out of the house and made her sit in his car and drove off from there. She leaned onto him in pain. ‘Nothing will happen to you Anjali, Arya won’t let anything happen to Anjali and her child,’ he said with tears in his eyes. She buried her face in his chest in pain and all he felt was emotional pain.
She fainted in his arms and tears dripped from his eyes. They reached hospital and he lifted her in his arms once again and went inside and called out for help. Nurses came with stretcher and he made her lay on it and they took her to emergency ward. He saw that she was holding her hand all the way there and he left her hand keeping it on her stomach and she was taken inside.

(He informed Sanjay about the incident and as she was OK, he started leaving)
‘Thank you Arya, thank you so much,’ she thanked him, Sanjay was outside at that time. ‘Welcome, what are friends for? Now I m going, take care Anjali,’ he said and went. She wept.
Three months later:
Sanjana was on the verge of dying and now Anjali had told him about the truth as she couldn’t stand her sister’s pain and moreover, Arya’s pain. ‘You betrayed me? You knew I love Sanjana, then also you did all this?’ Sanjay lost his temper. ‘Read this letter, its by Sanju,’ she said handing him a folded piece of paper.
It said, ‘Now that you know about the truth so there’s no point of lying, I m going far away from you, I have brain cancer and so I didn’t wanted you to see me die, if you can then please forgive me but you’ll always see my face daily in Anjali‘s face, when you both have your own kids then if a girl is born, give her my name, and yes remember that is me and she has come back to love you once again, I know you might be crying.
Please wipe your tears as we’ll meet again in our next life, we’ll meet before that in the world of stars, you’ll never be able to forget me but don’t worry I will see you from above and write your name on every star so that you can see how much I still love you, enjoy this life with Anjali and your child, forgive me please, love, Sanjana.’ He wiped his tears. ‘Forgive me Anjali, I will love this child more than anyone in this world but now I want to meet my Sanjana,’ he said. ‘OK but please make me meet Arya as well, he’s angry on me,’ she said. He nodded and left from there. Arya entered the room after some time and she gave him a sudden hug. Sanjay went to Sanjana and hugged her tightly as well.
‘Today, let us be in this hug the whole time as we don’t know if we’ll meet again in this life or not,’ Sanjay said to Sanjana. ‘You too have a look at me and capture my face in your eyes as we don’t know if this day will come again or not,’ Sanjana said to him in tears.
‘Arya I love you from the bottom of my heart but for you, my heart has no bottom, I will keep loving you always, this marriage is only a sacrifice,’ Anjali said hugging him tight as if he will disappear the moment she leaves him. ‘I love you too, and will keep loving you,’ he replied smilingly. ‘I just have a wish to lay in your lap and you caress my hair till I sleep,’ Sanjay said to Sanjana and placed his head in her lap and she caressed his hair till he slept. She kissed his forehead lovingly.
‘Thank you Sanjay for this day as I don’t know that when after this day I will be able to speak to you or I will be able to hear you,’ she said sadly. Anjali did the same to Arya. After some days, Sanjana was breathing her last. Anjali’s baby was also born. She gave her baby in her arms. ‘See baby. Maasi is going. Stop her na,’ Anjali said cryingly. ‘Anjali let’s sing the song mumma made for us,’ Sanjana said and she agreed cryingly. ‘Nanhay farishtay, janam se judwaa, alag na hongay zindagi bhar hum. Yahi sapna hia apna janam janam tak.’
‘Sundar judwaa hain , jinse yeh jurray hain, nazar na lag jaye gurriyo’n ko, sab se hi sundar hain pariyo’n ke jaisi, naazuk hain phoolo’n ki kaliyo’n si , pyaar bhara jeevan ab kattay sang sang, bichhrein gay na hum do, chahay kuchh bhi ho, yahi sapna hai apna janam janam tak,’ they sang and she breathed her last. All started crying vigorously. Arya hugged Anjali as she was uncontrollable. Soon it was time for her funeral and she was burnt to ashes which were immersed in the lake, Sanjay always tried finding Sanjana in Anjali as they had same faces, he always kept himself in an imagination that Anjali is his Sanjana.
They wanted to name their baby girl Sanjana but Anjali wanted to keep her name Anjana. But he named her Sanjana anyways and Anjali always mistakened her calling her Anjana.
After five years:
Arya’s love had increased with time and he never thought to see Anjali with someone else and so he committed suicide as now he was all alone. Anjali was once again saddened on losing him all over again. Saadhna was even more worried for her as she was completely in depression but Sanjay handled her always.
Day came for Anjana’s/little Sanjana’s birthday. Sanjay’s family was celebrating her birthday and they cut the cake. Anjali fed her and she fed Anjali then Sanjay then Raima and then Mani. In the last she went to Sanjana’s photo and pointed at the cake in her hand looking at her photo. ‘Maasi, today is my birthday, and you’re not here? Very bad ha, I miss you although I never met you,’ she said and Anjali went to her and picked her up. ‘If she would’ve been here, she would’ve been very happy to see you my little angel.’
‘But mumma, maasi always comes whenever I am lonely, she comes and plays with me mumma,’ Anjana told her. ‘Hmm, haha, you only get mumma to joke with, naughty girl,’ Anjali said pressing her nose lightly. ‘But mumma, if I make you meet her then?’ she asked. Anjali got teary eyed. ‘The ones who die never return,’ she said. ‘Mumma please come,’ Anjana pulled her and she went. ‘So many years passed by but still I miss Sanjana, whenever I have to call her by name, only then I realize she’s Anjali,’ Sanjay said sadly.
‘She won’t be happy if she sees you like this, may she rest in peace,’ Raima said and they had a teary hug. Anjali saw a pencil sketching on it’s own. ‘Look mumma, I told you she’s here,’ Anjana told her and she smiled. ‘Sanjana,’ Anjali said and the drawing raised on its own which had Anjali, Sanjana, Arya and Sanjay in it. Anjali smiled seeing it. The pencil sketched another drawing and raised it to show a sketch of Sanjay, Anjali and Anjana. ‘Come in front Sanjana,’ Anjali said and Sanjana appeared like an angel, her body glowed. She smiled at both of them and walked further cupping their cheeks.
