Jaan Kumar Sanu, who was last seen on Bigg Boss 14, is currently focusing on his music career. The budding singer was recently in the news when he was trolled for allegedly using late Sidharth Shukla’s name for publicity.
Jaan recently dedicated a song to SidNaaz titled ‘Mera Tu’. Many of Sidharth’s fans felt that Jaan is using Sid’s fame for publicity. Jaan however has maintained that he did this from his heart and the trolling is unfair. In a recent interview, Jaan talked about it and shared, “I really loved Shehnaaz and Sidharth’s bond in the BB13 house. They didn’t refer to themselves as a couple, so I won’t call them a couple. But it was a pure friendship and the connection that the two shared was beautiful. So I decided to pay a tribute to Sidnaaz.”
He adds, “I didn’t do anything for publicity. And if I really wanted to make money out of this song then I could have gone to some music company who would pay me for this. But I have just sung the song out of love for them and put it up on my social media. While there are negative comments, there are positive reactions too that I have received. But there are a few people who just want to create an issue out of nothing.”
He concluded by saying, “For those people who are saying that I am using Sidharth’s name, I would want to ask them why they are making fan pages; they are also using his name in a way. If that is fine then why can’t I pay a tribute to him through my song? I wish she listens to the song and gives her reaction. I am okay with her honest opinion.”
