Harsh struggles with the pressure of an arranged marriage and discusses his dilemma with his brothers. Arjun encourages him to agree to the proposal, but Harsh, feeling extremely nervous, asks for their support. Meanwhile, Rekha loses control and douses Gauri’s car in kerosene. Gauri tries to stop her, but Rekha, fueled by rage, restrains her. Rekha blames Gauri’s pride on the car and sets it on fire.
As Gauri helplessly watches it burn, Rekha warns her that she can cry or curse her, but this act is meant to push Gauri toward a luxurious life. Rekha demands Gauri sign a contract in exchange for one lakh rupees per week. When Gauri refuses, Rekha threatens that Charu will be forced to dance. Gauri, unwilling to see Charu humiliated, is pushed closer to giving in. At the same time, Rashmi welcomes Babita’s family and introduces Harsh to a potential bride. Harsh initially plans to decline the proposal but is surprised to see it’s the same girl he had met before.
Elsewhere, Vihaan introduces Harsh to Sia. Harsh says she looks familiar, but Sia denies having met him. Vihaan nudges Harsh to speak his mind, and while Arjun jokes that Harsh doesn’t believe in arranged marriage, Harsh quickly backtracks, saying he actually supports them. Rashmi then arranges for Harsh and Sia to speak privately, though Arjun wants to tag along. Vihaan drags Arjun away to give them space.
Gauri arrives at Vihaan’s house, trailed by a magical bird that flies into a photo frame as she steps inside. Vihaan is waiting with the contract. Gauri tells him she’ll only sign if she receives one lakh per week. Vihaan counters with an offer of 1.5 lakh per week in exchange for complete loyalty. Reluctantly, and with Charu on her mind, Gauri signs the contract. Vihaan tells her she has just five minutes to get ready for the upcoming puja.
Veena prepares for the puja but needs something from Rashmi, who is lost in thought. Veena compliments Rashmi’s beauty and Rashmi reminisces about Navratri from 20 years ago—when Kamini had vowed to return for Vihaan. Rashmi feels that this might be the year Kamini comes back. Veena reassures her that Vihaan is her son, and Kamini, wherever she is, won’t return from that world.
Gauri, now dressed for the puja, is consumed by worry for Charu. Meanwhile, Harsh spots a snake and becomes agitated, only to realize it was Sia. Arjun questions his odd behavior, but when Harsh turns back, the snake is gone. Charu reveals to Gauri that she overheard Rekha talking to Vihaan, which confirms to Gauri that Vihaan is behind the contract plan. Filled with fury, Gauri storms off to confront him.
