Gauri tells Vihaan she overheard everything. With tears in his eyes, Vihaan asks if she pities him, explaining that his mother—a dancer—abandoned him, and now he has a family who cares for him, so he doesn’t need sympathy. Gauri responds that she’s from a middle-class background where nothing is wasted, not even her tears. After their exchange, she goes to sleep. Harsh drops Sia off and asks her to reveal the truth about Pratham Vanshi and Vish. Sia insists she has nothing to say and walks away, but turns back to look at him. Harsh tells his family to accept Sia, but suddenly notices a snake entering her house.
Kamini transforms into Veena and traps Sia in the shadow world. Vihaan and Gauri lie awake, thinking about each other—Vihaan about Gauri, and Gauri about Vihaan’s painful past. Vihaan sees Gauri sleeping and quietly wipes his tears. Kamini summons a crow from the shadow world and sends it into Vihaan’s room. The crow enters his bracelet, allowing Kamini to begin gaining control over him.
Harsh enters the house looking for Sia. She questions him, and both notice a snake’s shadow on the wall. As the snake opens its mouth, Harsh turns and is confronted by a mysterious man. Sia urges Harsh to leave and pulls him to the gate. The man warns Sia she’s losing control again and reminds her of her past, insisting he never wants to see Harsh again.
The next morning, Gauri wakes and sees Vihaan sleeping. She stares at him, realizing she’s slowly falling in love. Vihaan wakes up and accuses her of judging him for being the son of a bar dancer. Gauri tells him she neither judges nor wants to know why his mother left. Instead, she says she now understands why she despises the bar dancer, surprising Vihaan.
Gauri praises Vihaan with a poetic line. When Vihaan asks why she’s staring, she makes an excuse and leaves. Arjun teases Vihaan, who shares that Gauri knows the truth about him. He explains that she responded to his confession with a poem. Arjun calls him clueless and tells him Gauri is clearly falling for him. As Gauri descends the stairs, she greets Sarda, who taunts her. Gauri asks why no one is around on Navami puja day. Sarda replies that everyone’s trying to save themselves and are missing Maa Durga’s blessings.
Vihaan tells Arjun he doesn’t love Gauri and fears she’ll one day discover the truth—that he is Kamini’s son. Arjun encourages him, saying no one knows her identity and that he believes Gauri will always be by his side. He adds that Gauri is unlike anyone else. Vihaan reflects on Gauri’s kindness, and Arjun suggests he tell her the full truth—that he is Davansh.
