Vihaan pleads with Gauri to give him a sign of her presence, but she remains silent—terrified, as a monstrous demon closes in on her. Alarmed, Vihaan tells Arjun that Gauri is in grave danger and urges her to send some signal. In desperation, he removes his magical bracelet and attempts to step into the mirror to reach her, but Arjun restrains him, urging him to think logically and find another way to locate her.
Inside the shadow world, Gauri hides under a table as the demon rampages through the room, tossing furniture and searching for her. Meanwhile, Vihaan uses his magic to track her location and tells Arjun that Gauri is trapped in the shadow world—they must save her. At the same time, Sia warns everyone to protect the sacred akhand jot from being extinguished, while Sarda questions
Vihaan returns to the mirror and calls out to Gauri, recognizing the demon and assuring her that he knows how to deal with it. He urges her once more to send a sign, offering her strength through his words. He recites a poem to uplift her spirit, reminding her of her inner strength and that she alone is powerful enough to confront the demon.
Overwhelmed, Vihaan begins to cry, begging Gauri to respond. Just then, the demon spots her under the table, but Gauri quickly hurls a vase to distract it and bangs on the mirror, sending signals. Vihaan explains that the demon cannot see but can hear, and instructs Gauri to lure it into the puja room, where it will lose its power. He plays music to aid her in diverting the demon, and Gauri leads the creature in that direction.
Elsewhere, Harsh places sacred ashes into Sia’s hands, and she prays before the goddess. She takes the akhand jot and spreads its light among everyone. As Gauri locks herself and the demon inside the puja room, she desperately tries to break the goddess’s protective cover. Sia instructs the group to form a human shield around the akhand jot, and together they create a sacred guard.
Inside, the demon breaks into the room, and Gauri continues trying to crack the goddess’s shield. Sia urges everyone to call out to Gauri, and Arjun reveals that she’s trapped in the shadow world. Gauri prays to the goddess for a miracle, and suddenly notices something she can use to break through. However, the ash barrier fails, and Sarda encourages Arjun to assist Vihaan. At that moment, Vihaan discovers a mysterious box containing a map—the key to entering the shadow world. Meanwhile, Gauri finally finds a pair of ghungroos (ankle bells), the very thing that might turn the tide in this battle of light versus darkness.
