Gauri awakens to find herself in a dark, distorted version of reality—the Shadow World. The place around her is in ruins, yet eerily familiar. A strange energy lingers in the air. As she explores, she realizes the house looks exactly like Vihaan’s. Confused and scared, she calls out for help, but no one answers. She climbs the stairs, still calling, and hears someone summon her for the puja. When she tries to open the main gate, it’s locked from the inside.
She wanders into a room, and the narrator reveals the chilling truth—Gauri is trapped in the Shadow World. Through a mirror, she glimpses the real world. Veena notices that the diya has blown out, signaling something is wrong. Dadi asks about Gauri, prompting Mahesh to go look for her. Meanwhile, Gauri begins to cry out, desperate for help. Vihaan stands silently in the room. Gauri can hear Rashmi urging the family to start the puja without Gauri, insisting the akhand jot cannot go out.
From within the mirror, Gauri hears voices. Veena senses the cries. Gauri sees Vihaan’s reflection and hears unsettling creaks echoing in the house. Terrified, she hides, sensing an invisible presence around her. Overwhelmed, she breaks down in tears. Arjun insists to the Pandit that the puja shouldn’t begin without Gauri bhabhi. Gauri sees Arjun through the mirror and tries calling to him. Mahesh tells Arjun that Vihaan isn’t truly family, warning that Vihaan might betray them one day due to his background—his mother was a bar dancer.
Vihaan defends himself, asking Arjun to respect his parents. He acknowledges his past and expresses gratitude to the family for accepting him, despite his lineage. He promises to never forget his roots and vows to protect the family. Watching him through the mirror, Gauri rushes toward him. They appear to walk toward each other, lost in a surreal trance. She wants to call out to him but holds back. Vihaan, deeply hurt by the family’s harsh words, breaks down, and Gauri feels his pain. She realizes Vihaan’s innocence and is moved by his sorrow.
Suddenly, Gauri spots a shadow outside the window. Veena, trying to relight the akhand jot, fails. A mysterious voice whispers to her, hinting at a deeper truth. Gauri sees the shadow vanish. Meanwhile, Vihaan enters Veena’s room and finds her phone. Veena returns, confronting Kamini and accusing her of betrayal. In the mirror, she sees a vision of herself burning. Suddenly, she stands in a nakshatra, doors sealing around her. She watches herself cry. At that moment, Vihaan approaches the mirror, just about to touch it.
