He ran towards the car and saw that all the windows were smashed, nd on stearing wheel there were blood spots….But he couldn’t see Sona….
On the other seat he saw a beautiful bouquet of his favorite flowers nd a note
” SURPRISE”
After reading so….Nd seeing all this…It was indeed a big surprise for him.
He thought that someone would have taken Sona to hospital, nd turned to go…When he heard a very faint sound….Calling out his name.

He searched the car nd saw sona in miserable condition, with blood oozing out from her head nd scratches all over her hands, tucked up in the leg space btw the driver seat and the passenger seat.
Seeing he so, his heart felt pierced….Nd he quickly took Sona out nd drove Towards the hospital.

At hospital
Dev was walking up nd down, with his face all tired nd exhausted…..Tears dripping down his face….Nd his hands ​stabilizing him whenever he lost his balance.
It was over 4 hours of the accident nd 3 hours of a successful surgery, but still there was no sign as to when she would open her eyes.

He was very nervous as he knew that he wouldn’t be able to see her, all tied up in bandages nd hospital equipments….But he has to go inside.
Only he could make her come out of her unconsciousness….Nd only his love could heal her wounds, but at the same time he couldn’t control his emotions….
After stabilizing himself, he moved into her room.
She laid there, all pale nd wan, she looked so dull…… Although she could survive through the accident coz she had a strong will power but her body was tooo fragile…

Dev went towards her nd took her hand in his…
D: Sona pls speak something….U know I…I…Can’t ssee you like this…Pls!!
He cried….

After few moments he could feel Sona stirred up, nd was gaining concious….
S: de…V… Please don’t cry…I’m fine!
D: yes I can see how fine u r!!
S: I…I…Sorry dev….I shouldn’t have …
D: Shhhhh….It’s all okay…But tell me how come u were in between the leg space of the two seats?
S: dev….I was so scared…Those cars were constantly pushing nd jerking my car nd then with a big bang…I could see the tree coming infront…I…I tried to open the air balloons to avoid injury, but those were removed from there somehow….At that moment I couldn’t think anything so went to back seat nd as the car struck the tree I was pushed btw the two seats….Nd I …I…Lost concious until u called my name!!
Dev wiped her tears nd said…It’s all okay…

Dev asked doctor to prepare her discharge papers the next day nd took her home.

He took care of her, nd after a week she was all okay…With minor injuries nd one bandage on her head.

Now it was time for there marriage….The day that was awaited for soo long. Dev asked her if she wants he could postpone the marriage, but Sona was so adamant that dev gave in nd all preparations were done.

They both decided that the marriage would be simple court marriage….Nd only some frnds would be invited.

Marriage day

Sona stood in front of a full length mirror in a beautiful white gown nd a veil in front
Her hair were tied up in a side messy bun leaving few strands of hair on her face nd a white lily in the bun.
She looked like a doll.
She was very excited nd sad coz from yesterday he was not picking up her call nd thought he might be busy with arrangements
Elena and Aisha were teasing her nd pulling her leg when all of a sudden, ritwick ran into her room to tell that dev was nowhere to be seen since 2 hours.
Sona thought that he would be here nd asked ritwick to look around….But ritwick told he had already seen everywhere.

Sona thought to wait.
Soon one hour was passed, then two, then three…All the people went back nd priest too.
Elena , Aisha nd ritwick stood by her side.
They asked her to come home ….But she said
S: noooooooo…dev would come….He loves me alot …He…He can’t leave me like this nd broke down

Her frnds tried to cool her down, and asked her to leave her stubbornness nd come home…

After passing entire day waiting for him in her wedding dress, her frnds pulled her into their home nd asked her to change.

After changing, Sona could hear Elena nd Aisha talking about something but as soon as she entered the room, they quickly switched off the TV nd passed a fake smile.
She knew something was wrong and switched the TV on again
She saw news telecasting the arrival of dev in USA.
She saw him getting down his private jet, with his sunglasses , a beautiful smile nd moved into his Merc.
Sona understood why elena nd Aisha switched off the TV coz they didn’t want her to know that dev ditched her on their marriage day, nd had left for his meeting to USA.
Sona smiled on her fate….Nd stood strong coz she didn’t want to be pitied by her frnds nd went into her room after dinner.

In the room

Sona broke down….Her dev left her…….
Many questions were running in her mind which were left unanswered….

Day by day, the pain increased in her….But she didn’t let anyone know.
Elena , Aisha nd ritwick were always by her side. She stood strong infront while she was continuously breaking down from within…
This one year, went like a repeat mode, where all she has Sona was getting up , going to hospital, coming back, having dinner nd then cried herself to sleep…With heavy doze of antidepressant nd sleeping pills.
Every day she had waited for him to come back nd answer her questions, so that she could be free to die….

At present

Sona was walking down the road thinking all this.
Someone was continuously watching her movements .
Sona could sense her someone following her so she turned back nd saw ritwick, having an icecream cone of her favorite icecream.
She smiled and took it.

The person in the car watching her movements, strolled up his window nd drove back, as he saw sona nd ritwick.

I’m sorry for promising u that u would update it on Sat….Nd then not fulfilling it.
Actually on Sat I slipped from stairs so I had a bandage wrapped on my hand.
So I couldn’t write. But now since it was a bit better so I managed to write a bit…
I’m really sorry ritika for making u wait…Nd others too……
