Sona marched down the road , while dev looked from his window her retreating figure, that finally disappeared.
Sona sat in the taxi nd went to Elena’s home.
Yes she was back there. Both Elena and Aisha supported her throughout but she broke down from within slowly and slowly with a bravefront in front of them.
Sona’s POV********
Although a year has been passed since that incident, but I haven’t recovered from the pain nd scars dev have left on her heart. I was totally broken, nd wouldn’t have survived this big betrayal if I wouldn’t have some questions that dev had to clarify.
Nd after that, I would leave Paris. With soo many memories, it had given me the worst betrayal.
I’m done with it….Nd dev!! I thought atleast now after a year he would be answerable to my questions, but he asked me to leave. Was all that we shared was just a mere lie?
Was I expecting too much from him? Or was I trusting too much on him? Why did he leave me that day( thinking so Sona miserably cried. She left the taxi nd started walking on the road…Feeling miserable inside.
She couldn’t cry in front of others, becoz she didn’t want others to see how broken she is, how weak she is after all that coz Infront of then she was always a strong person, nd didn’t want to ruin this image of hers coz she hated feeling pitied by ppl.)
I still remember those days when everything was so perfect. I was happy in my life with dev.
Flashback***********
Dev called Sona nd told her that he would be going to France for a short meeting nd would return by tomorrow. Nd asked her to take care.
Sona was upset becoz she had to be alone without him, but knew that he would return soon.
Sona slept nd after a day, it was the time of his arrival. Sona was walking up nd down coz he was late.
One hour passed,….Two hours passed nd soon five hours were up.
Now her anxiety levels were on the peak. She switched on news in order to distract her mind.
But the news telecasting blew her mind off…
It was shown that devs jet had been crashed while he was on the way, nd he died on the spot.
Listening this Sona fell on the floor with a thud.
She couldn’t believe her eyes. She wanted to die the very next moment.
S: no…No…This can’t happen!! Dev can’t leave me!! NOOOOOOOO!!(SHOUTED)
U CANT LEAVE ME DEV!! u r not dead…Not dead…nd went in shock.
She went into a corner nd kept her face on her knees, nd cried miserably.
She couldn’t believe this could happen!!
But after some time, door knob opened nd many of devs guards entered…Nd behind him was dev…All fit nd well.
He called out for Sona, but Sona was in shock.
He asked his guards to go.nd then turned to search for her.
He saw the news announcing him being dead, nd his mind rushed if Sona had not done something to her.
He searched the whole house nd saw her crying in a corner, he ran towards her nd took her in his embrace.
D: Sona I’m fine!! Seee!!
Sona was still in shock nd couldn’t realise that dev was really here not her imagination.
Due to crying so much, Sona fainted in his arms nd dev urgently called the doctor.
Soon Sona woke up….
Nd was surprised to see him Infront of her all fit nd fine!!
She touched him, kissed all-over his face nd tightly hugged him.
S: I love u Dev( while sobbing)
Where were u ? They ..They …Were showing…(cried miserably)
Dev tried to console her nd make her understand that he was fine. But she kept on blabbering…Nd blabbering.
Thus in order to make her realize the reality, he kissed her.
The kiss was passionate where both of them showed how much they longed for each other.

Dev captured her lips once again and they made love again. Nd feeling tiredness, they both slept in each other’s embrace peacefully.
