Ranbir offers to drop Chandan home, but he firmly declines, requesting Meher not to punish Meghla for the mishap before leaving. Meghla breaks down in tears.
Chandan returns home, fuming, and demands Mahua open the suitcase. Confused, Mahua complies. Chandan calls for Adrija, who appears pleased, thinking her plan succeeded. Adrija feigns concern for Chandan, but he lashes out at her. Mahua demands an explanation. Chandan urges her to open the suitcase, revealing only old, torn clothes, leaving Mahua shocked. Chandan accuses Adrija, who claims innocence, citing a stomach ache as her alibi. Mahua supports Adrija’s claim, confirming she was resting.
Meanwhile, Ranbir comforts a crying Meghla. He admits he disapproved of her past behavior toward Chandan and suggests buying new clothes for the family. Meghla hesitates, believing Chandan will handle it, but Ranbir persuades her. Meghla worries about the family’s reaction if the truth is revealed, but Ranbir reassures her.
Back at the Sen house, Chandan confronts Adrija, who distracts her parents by claiming the new clothes are inside. She retrieves the clothes, easing Mahua’s concerns. Chandan decides to confront the guests responsible, worrying Adrija. Meghla tries to dissuade Ranbir from buying clothes on Chandan’s behalf, fearing her father won’t approve. Ranbir reminds her of Balveer’s earlier advice, and they share a warm hug.
Ranbir’s cousins enter their room, inviting Meghla to join them. Ranbir suggests taking her for a drive to lift her spirits, and the cousins agree. Simran encourages Meghla to enjoy the outing. Meher decides to call Chandan, shocking Ranbir and Meghla. Ranbir convinces her to meet Chandan at the reception the next day. Meghla decides to inform Chandan of Ranbir’s plan.
