The Episode starts with Zoravar refuses to let Meghla go to Guru ji’s house. Meghla questions what she should do if she isn’t allowed to do household chores. Meher advises her, but Meghla gets upset. Simran tries to convince Meher, but Zoravar refuses to allow Meghla to visit Anurag or practice singing. Meghla pleads with him, but he shouts at her. Balveer warns Zoravar and suggests letting Meghla visit occasionally. Meghla tells Balveer about Anurag’s strict rules and daily classes. Kamla questions Meghla, who explains why she attends. Arjun supports Meghla and tries to convince Zoravar, but he refuses.
Meher taunts Meghla to calm Zoravar. Meghla defends herself, leading to an argument. Zoravar asks what she will do if he forbids her from singing. Meghla declares she will go against his wish. Everyone is shocked, and Zoravar gets furious. Balveer asks her to wait for Ranbir, but she decides to leave for Guru Ji’s house. Meher and Zoravar criticize her.
Zoravar wishes Adrija had been their daughter-in-law instead. Meghla says she and Adrija are different and explains the restrictions placed on her while Adrija enjoys freedom. She refuses to sit idle and insists on practicing at Guru Ji’s house. Arjun supports her but asks her to wait for Ranbir. Meghla says the family misunderstands her and leaves, adding that Ranbir already knows. Zoravar demands to know what Ranbir said, but Meghla tells him to ask directly. He gets upset.
Param offers to drop Meghla off and asks Meher to support her. Meghla pleads with Meher as a fellow artist, but Meher is disappointed, feeling Meghla disrespects their emotions. Meher asks if she will wait for Adrija. Meghla promises to return before Adrija arrives and leaves.
Ranbir brings Adrija home. Chandan asks about her decision to stay, but Mahua supports her and doubts her full recovery. Ranbir urges her not to lose hope. Meghla meets Guru Ji and Diljot, who are shocked that the Bajwas are stopping her from learning music. Guru Ji supports Meghla but refuses to help her earn money from singing, saying this isn’t the path she was meant for. Meghla is upset.

Ranbir has shown himself to be a worthless husband. Showing all the care and concern for his ex fiance while being arrogant and showing distrust in his wife of a few short days. He was the one in a rush to marry Mehgla. Now all he sees is her flaws. Constantly disregarding her in front of his family. This show is no example to anyone. Constant belittling of the new daughter-in-law by the family.
I’m even ashamed of Chandan. I know Mahua doesn’t like Mehgla, but all Chandan talks of love and trust in Meghla jumps out the window the minute her in laws complain about her. Meghgla needs to grow a spine. She’s one of the weakest female leads on TV.
The only things young girls can take from this show is:
Be independent. Find out who you really are. Build a life for yourself first before tying down yourself in marriage. Even when you decide to get married, let no one put restrictions on you and disregard what you have achieved. You are not a wife or daughter-in-law first, you are a woman first. Care for your self first. Stand up for your self. Because when you break, they will not always be there to pick up your pieces. Sometimes they are the reasons you break in the first place.

You do not need to “figure out who you are” because you are just you always you no matter what. The rest is a social construct. And no, marriage isn’t “tying down”. It shouldn’t be. In fact, marriage is an archaic and impractical practice and should be abolished legally
